• Starwars Rebels to focus on teenagers as main characters

Im still hoping to see that graphic novel based off the ORIGINAL star wars plot that lucas came up with. Hell even if its completely rubbish like the original plot was it will still be better than something geared towards a younger audience, we all know how well that's gone in the past (Clone wars (and not the 2d one that shit was dope))
Can't wait for the "Very Special Episode" where they learn "Overweight, unpopular teen that they have never mentioned or bothered to talk to, but who has always been there despite only being in this episode" has a drug addiction. And they go out of their way to try and save him and preach how drugs are evil. Of course being Star Wars, it will probably be Spice rather than drugs, but same thing.
even more ironic is that something as dark and gritty as christopher nolans batman trilogy didnt even have that much amount of blood displayed, harvey dent aside [editline]24th June 2013[/editline] iron man 3 also involved a lot more killing and implied violence than most of the pre-disney marvel films
IN TCW there surprising amount of violence ranging from decapitation, people getting cut in half by things other than lightsabers, strangulation, neck snapping, explosions, being executed, etc. I wouldn't say they would water down the violence to being knocks out or some stupid shit, I mean any episodes in which there were clones there was about dozen of them dieing in one scene alone.
Deathsticks.
Spice AND Deathsticks. He'll be tripping out of his mind.
Red dawn: Tatooine
The people who founded the Rebel Alliance weren't teenagers, they were two adults. Mon Mothma and Bail Organa. Even the movies confirm this, even though George Lucas likes to shit on the extended universe. Without the EU, Star Wars wouldn't have the popularity it does today.

You guys do know one of the minds behind this is Greg Weisman, the guy behind Young Justice, which also had- GASP- teenagers as main characters? What's with this idea that "teenagers = shit TV" these days? How about you guys get your heads out of the CW and look at all the other TV shows that have teenagers as main characters and are still doing fine? Especially animated shows. I mean, jeez, Avatar: The Last Airbender had kids as main characters and was really mature- why do people think that this animated show won't be mature? Because it's with Disney? Oh, grow up.
All I want from Star Wars movies (or other live action stuff) at this point is the theatrical versions of original trilogy on blu-ray I really couldn't give a shit about anything else. Not to say I wouldn't like there to be something good made I just have no expectations or hopes.
Just get Tartakovsky to do another animated series... I don't trust anyone else with it.
Just get Tartakovsky to do another animated series... The movie was garbage though. But I suppose the series could have been better.
Eh, to be fair I didn't actually see the series so I'll take your word for it. The movie was garbage though. I didn't watch the TCW series either but it seemed really bad compared to the 2003 miniseries. There were also some complaints that they fucked up some of the characters e.g. General Grievous. Compare these scenes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1BqZzIWSW0&feature=youtube_gdata_player http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIj7gIDFDe4&feature=youtube_gdata_player Not to mention the newer series has a lot of stupid kiddy humor anyway.
Well that makes him the first damn Jedi to make sense from the viewpoint of logic to an extent. The rest were just a bunch of nutjobs waving around swords, waiting for someone to get 3 braincells together and start throwing RPGs their way.
In the original trilogy, yoda is considered a master above all, and the best he can do is lift up a x-wing out of a swamp. It takes luke skywalker a good minute of focus just to lift up his lightsaber when he's hung up in that cave after 3 years of training, and another 1 year to lift up C3P0 on a chair. Even in the prequel trilogy, the biggest physical exploit done with the force is lifting a senate chair and throwing it around. Then Starkiller just shows up and hauls and entire fucking destroyer to the ground, with no experience at all in lifting objects nearly this big. And somehow, not a single person ever thinks about mentioning this one guy who's so powerful he can pick up objects the size of a city and toss them around like it's nothing. The fan release of the first three movies is done and I think they have moved onto fixing the original trilogy as much as it can be by now.
Will they break out into song as well?
Eh, there are some good teen actors/actresses out there. A well-cast group could be the difference between absolute shit and guilty pleasure, or even out-right decent.
watch, it'll be a CW show
Then it would probably end up being a ballsy fantastic show.

Remember the established mandalorian lore before the cartoon? Maybe not because they were fairly...Mandalorian until they turned into a bunch of pacifist pansies they are now. Deathwatch was also meant to be defeated by Jango Fett, not sure if they mention that in the clonewars cartoons...do they?
And then Princess Leia's period came.

It does stomp on some the EU but it also appeals to the EU fans by adding direct acknowledgement of KOTOR by adding Selkath and Revan though the ladder being cut late production. But overall the series was pretty good in my opinion aside from Ahsoka.

The Norse used to be the nightmare of everybody, now look at their position in the world.
Places change with the times. Its nice to see how they deal through the war, sometimes watching Jedi be all heroic gets boring, its why i normally enjoy GCW era better.
so basically exactly what they did to star trek (except they'll do it wrong?)
so basically exactly what they did to star trek (except they'll do it wrong?)
The new movie won't have a bunch of teenagers, this is some god awful Disney spin off series.
so basically exactly what they did to star trek (except they'll do it wrong?)
Because JJ Abrams did it right?
so basically exactly what they did to star trek (except they'll do it wrong?)
Good thing about Startrek, is that they broke apart new-canon and old with a timeline. This? They're just blowing through everything without any brakes.
Good thing about Startrek, is that they broke apart new-canon and old with a timeline. This? Especially with Star Wars, which has one of the most complicated EUs in the world.
watch, it'll be a CW show
CW is Warner Bros. This shit is gonna be on ABC family.
