So in reality it was not hacked, the password was just figured out and they decided to go on it. That would be like saying I hacked a facebook account because someone stayed logged in and i decided to post troll statuses.
That is how a lot of people define it. I'll see something generic like "i love cock" as a status with all the following comments being "lol hak'd" etc. With the track we're on now hacking will soon be known as using a computer.
Hacking is not gaining unauthorized access to an account, that is a very specified definition, hacking is not limited to computers hence that definition is quite wrong. Also hacking is not limited to obtaining account information or access to it. And then once again, they did not get in because he ticked remember my password (why the.... would you think...), they simply attempted a simple bruteforce and gained access.

So long as you exploit a security weakness to access something, you've just hacked them. So it doesn't even apply to computers specifically with that definition.
Read the other thread's title: ‘Anonymous’ hacks Syrian president’s email with ’12345′ password. Seems more reasonable as: Anonymous 'hacks' Syrian president’s email with ’12345′ password
Soooo. Lets see these emails.
Haha, what a dumbass. Be right back, changing my password.
