Fucking assholes who think this is funny. You don't know what is it like to have an autistic little brother.
i wish i was autisic
No you dont.
we should harvest their tungsten to craft weapons!
i wish i was autisic
why would anyone want to be autistic?
Does that mean being autistic... IS METAL
Would definitely explain the subgenre arguments
i wish i was autisic
If you saw the kids I work with on a daily basis you would take that back. What side of the spectrum is he?
Does that mean being autistic... IS METAL
More like Heavy Metel with all that lead and mercury, I guess.
Wow you guys are making a lot of jokes about this.
nice, thanks for telling us meanwhile, on-topic,
Because a guy with autism talking about his autism in a thread about autism is off topic. Okay. [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] So, toxic metals. Thats wierd.
I never really imagined myself having some form of autism, but it never really hit me until I was in high school, and even going to the store and stuff. I'm always very shy, and nervous when talking to people. It's a big battle to go into a store and buy something, and I really hate it :(
I think in the case of this thread Autism is being used to refer to something different than Autism Spectrum Disorders
They diagnosed me with some form of aspergers, and social anexity, but I usually just refer it to that general term.
So autism would have to do with the body's inability to process naturally occurring metals? Well, that's interesting. So I guess my total-aspie grandfather gave me his deficiency through my dad's genetics. Though I wonder, both of them had mercury teeth. But then, there's a branch of my distant family who are full aspergers or even autistic, guys and gals alike, so I really doubt it's a factor at all. It runs deep in the family's roots, perhaps back to even my great grandfather. So then, I wonder what causes that inability to process the metals like others.
Maybe you just have lead paint in the house your family grew up in.
most people do
what do you mean most WHAT ARE YOU NOT SHARING
I got autism (no not an aspy) but I don't shit razor blades or piss liquid metal. It's a fucker for socializing but I can remember long numbers just by looking at them. I can even remember my friends credit card number just from getting a 2 second glimpse at his card in a nightclub 3 years ago
Prove it, post his number for us.
I would totally trade my social skills for remembering long numbers in a glimpse.
You don't.
Fucking assholes who think this is funny. You don't know what is it like to have an autistic little brother.
Speaking of things full of metal, you of all people acting offend is pretty ironic.
Facepunch, we have come to take your non existent female companions and use them as breeding stock for are ultimate race, surrender while you still have dignity. [editline]27th February 2013[/editline]
A chemical difference? I wonder if this could possibly lead to some sort of cure or treatment. What I wouldn't do to be rid of my AS forever...
.....traitor! Exterminate!
Mercury? Oh god, this is going to feed some anti-vaccinators.
Just feed them this Penn and Teller: Bullshit episode: Or, just the clip it's famous for:
I'm pretty smart but why did I just open the refrigerator door

They cherry pick statistics far too often. That being said, I'm still on the pro-vaccine side. I've gotten vaccinated and will vaccinate my own children.
I think we should extract those metals. Tungsten is pretty rare.
Just use a centrifuge, separate all the denser metals out from the rest.
