Gay Strip club =/= Gay strippers and visa versa. Just clearing that up
The one doing the crime is always at fault. IE: You have two people, both drunk out of their heads, but neither is committing a crime. Now one commits a crime. How are both of them at fault? The fact the crime is rape, or the fact that the crime was committed against the other drunk person doesn't alter that. What being drunk does alter, if you are the victim, is your credibility to a potential jury. The members of the jury need to believe you, if it's a he said/she said case. If you have to start your testimony by admitting up front you were mentally out of it to some extent, yeah that's going to have an impact on your believability. It doesn't cause you to share fault though.
Okay but there have been cases of women who claimed they were raped because solely because they were mentally impaired before and during sex. Now, if both the people are drunk, and they both have willing sex, and the only possible crime is that they couldn't legally consent because they were drunk, who is at fault?
Gay Strip club =/= Gay strippers and visa versa. Just clearing that up
Uhm... "Atlanta police are investigating claims that a woman was raped by two dancers at a gay strip club." Unless I'm missing your point?
Uhm... "Atlanta police are investigating claims that a woman was raped by two dancers at a gay strip club." Unless I'm missing your point?
I think he means the strippers aren't automatically gay.
I think he means the strippers aren't automatically gay.
Pretty much this. You don't have to be gay to work at a gay bar.
But it does help.
For the moment I read title that "Woman allegedly raped two strippers at a gay club" Started wondering how the hell she managed to pull it out.
Trying to think of puns...
I never really got the thing with rape culture. is it some form of secret club where men gather in a large room and discuss rape?
I've never gotten it either. Honestly, the term itself just sounds so stupid to me that anyone who that uses the term seriously just loses all credibility.
