According to the folks at IGN who have tried the first map of the campaign, the M50 only has 150 bullets, and that's all you get.
Kind of opens it up for a new "OP Tier" for weapons that are over-the top powerful (Like the grenade launcher) that are balanced out by limited ammo.
Oh, and since it's confirmed that they're using things that were already hidden in the game's files, such as the fallen survivor as the new uncommon infected, I'm willing to bet on the Didgeridoo that's already in the game's files being the new melee weapon.
Who's that?

Broke my automerge...
Technically the special infected are uncommon among the common horde, therefore it could be either.
If there were 3 ratings, it would be Common, Uncommon, and Rare. Not Common, Uncommon common, and Uncommon. No matter how you look at it, it's a stupid name. Just give them the names that the developers refer to them by, uncommon and special.
Do I spot fallen survivior ?
Oh mah gawds its christmas!
So.. that troll on the steam fourms was right? If so the new weapon is a golf club and the l4d1 survivors are npcs :frown:
Meh, who cares, we're getting free dlc for a game that isn't updated with new stuff very much. They should just release new weapons every so often, maybe a new survival/scavenge map once in a while too. It's not very often we get anything regardless of it being promised before.
Coach lost an arm.

Sounds like the Minigun from TF2, what with the absence of spare ammo or even a need to reload.
The poster isn't final, I've said this already but you can also tell by the fact there's no tag line included in it yet.
Lots of zombies in the last pic.
It's still a work in progress.
Coach looks like a rat with wet fur, and Nick looks like he just turned himself into some kind of paper craft work.
Nick looks like :frogdowns:

Agoat gets a happy face :buddy:
Actually, all the text on the bottom is from hard rain.
I would shed a tear if the l4d 1 survivors die saving you.
Actually, all the text on the bottom is from hard rain.
Maybe they just got bored and pasted the text as a fill in?
No one really reads that shit, anyway.
L4D1 survivors' feet obviously didn't 'survive'

Shit I had that worded wrong.
The special infected aren't common in the hordes, therefor they could be classified as part of the "uncommon" group. I wasn't supporting the "uncommon common" phrase, if that's what you thought I meant.
i thought the passing would make you play as the l4d1 cast.
well i guess we know what the new gun is.
Now all that's left is the new melee weapon.
football
It's a Golf club.

EW! Comic sans.
i thought the passing would make you play as the l4d1 cast.
It would be cool if the passing also was new l4d1 dlc, except it follows their adventures leading up to the finale.
And right before the finale would lobby up to set four people playing l4d2 with the people playing l4d1.
