Jews (Israel) and Americans (USA).
Coincidence? YOU DECIDEEee
I've been to Cuba and it's cool
And no, I didn't stay at any of the hotels
How dare they try to stop countries from being unjustly shit upon!
From what I can tell, it seems like they're trying to erase everything that makes countries different.

By doing what exactly?
Has the UN, a body which can barely enforce sanctions, actually done something that you think "erases" culture or national identity?
Trading with Cuba seems perfectly reasonable. I don't think I have even encountered the other side of the argument. I have no idea why we wouldn't trade with them.
I understand the whole cold war mentality bullshit, but Jesus give it a rest. It is over.

They constantly try to influence policy in the US.

By doing what? If US policy involves pressing down on other nations (Cuba, Palestine, etc.) then I'd say it's a universal peacekeeping body's job to stop that policy.

That's because there is no "other side of the argument", the other side of the argument is basically: "They're cuban commies" which isn't really an argument at all.
One side is sympathetic to their political orientation, the other side doesn't believe the government should be telling companies where it isn't allowed to trade. (Of course, it isn't only limited to Cuba)
Goddamn it raise the embargo so I can open my Tropicana Casino/Resort V.2 and make a shitload of money.
honestly since Mexico has gone to shit, given a few years for setup Cuba could be a pretty chill vacation spot.

I don't think the Cuban government would allow you to do so, seeing that was one of the reasons they rose against the US control.

Personally, I think that Cuba is already a pretty chill vacation spot, at least for people who aren't American. I've met a few Cubans, and despite our government being complete and total asshats, they're very friendly to Americans.
They don't blame us for our governments asinine behavior.

And they could be exporting their great quality of cigars and coffee beans.

People like you are why the US never ratified the League of Nations covenant, which partly meant that nothing was done about the invasion of Abyssinia, which partly meant that Germany got all ballsy, which partly meant that Germany invaded Poland and nothing was subsequently done about it, which means world war 2 was partly the fault of people who think like you and for replicating that way of thinking, I'm blaming world war 2 on you.
The embargo needs to be lifted. These people live on 20 bucks a month...what happened to America trying to help people?

When we realized helping other people is communist

US has always helped people when it has been profitable. When there's no gain to be made or even a possibility of loss, everyone's on their own.

HUGE market for their cigars and the like, I'm sure we could export to them as well, there isn't a real logical reason for this anymore.
HUGE market for their cigars and the like, I'm sure we could export to them as well, there isn't a real logical reason for this anymore.
The amount of product they could export is a moot point. We don't trade with tons of countries, and we don't have embargoes on them. This embargo is bullshit, and does nothing but impoverish that nation further and further every day.
How about we (well not we, but Americans since only them can do it) help them by doing a petition on the We The People website?
Every little bit helps.

Cuba is already a chill vacation spot for everyone except Americans.

It also enables Castro and his retinue to stay in power
Yes and it is absolutely VITAL that Castro is taken down from his throne because he is SUCH a threat.

Have you seen his jogging suit? It looks like it's straight out of the 80's.
Even I'd call him a fashion disaster.
It really wouldn't surprise me if the US ends up like Russia did after the USSR collapsed, with the way they're heading down. As much as the economy would suffer, maybe it's for the best if the world had no superpower anymore.
That would wreck the international economy and bring massive poverty to the US. It would be much better if we took away the power slowly, if not that then at least we should improve the US.
