I remember my grandmother once told me Teletubbies were actually people in 3 meter high suits. I can also remember the nightmares of gigantic Teletubbies invading my hometown.

I was in elementary school when Teletubbies first aired. There was an article in the paper at that time where they said watching the show caused kids to commit suicides.
