There are lots of reasons for MLP becoming a popular thing, and I think none of these will apply to this reboot.

This show was the shit when I was young. My sister and I laughed our asses off because we kept watching that one episode over and over again where the tubby taost machine goes wild and spams an infinite amount of toast around the whole land and some of the toasts get stuck in the antennas on their heads.
