The game for me personally, has been flawless.
Have you been getting slow loading textures like the picture above? that's the only thing wrong with mine
Despite all the controversy and coverage over the terrible performance people are getting; the game is still sitting at the top of the Steam Top Sellers list. Really hope that the people who are dissatisfied with performance issues have refunded the game, or else nothing is going to change.
The game for me personally, has been flawless.
Have you tried uncapping it or are you keeping it at 30 fps

I dont really understand the deal here, ManVsGame, lirik and coohcarnage have played the game (on pc) all day long w/o any problems. I think the charges are here wrong
I'm giving RockSteady a week to solve the issues before I refund
According to the linked steam account, you don't even own the game. [editline]a[/editline] Nevermind it's a steam bug
I dont really understand the deal here, ManVsGame, lirik and coohcarnage have played the game (on pc) all day long w/o any problems. I think the charges are here wrong
I don't know about the others but Lirik has 3 Titan X' That doesn't explain the bad graphics ofc
Have you tried uncapping it or are you keeping it at 30 fps
I don't know what this stuff about capping is because ever since I opened the game and launched the performance test it's been running on an average of 52 fps, dropping to 30 for really busy explosions and such. So yeah, I don't know what that's about unless the performance test fps counter lies
The performance tests run at above 30fps, but the actual game doesn't.
I'll have to double check that then for the actual gameplay but they don't seem different to my eye and I normally pick up on low frame rates.
According to the linked steam account, you don't even own the game.
That's weird http://i.imgur.com/HvHa3yg.png
Lol Guys Xbone all the way woop woop game is fucking amazing as ever! Still the riddler fucking pisses me off but Ive already masturbated to new Catwoman so Im fine
According to the linked steam account, you don't even own the game.
It says I don't either for some reason. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/5gLOUg.png[/t]
It says I don't either for some reason. Don't play it for more than two hours or you won't be able to get a refund anymore.
If anyone else has been playing this with a mouse and keyboard, could you tell me if it's possible to rebind certain things like takedowns, gadget quick-use and gadget aim (which, in City, freed up the right mouse button if you were discovered in Predator gameplay but didn't want to waste a smoke bomb), and if gadget selection uses City's 'Shift + 1-6' approach instead of trying to fit everything on the number keys right up to '='?
That's weird http://i.imgur.com/HvHa3yg.png
Haha, you bought brink. Oh wait. :C
He's right they are entitled. Entitled to a working product they paid for. Since they haven't received that they should get a refund.
And if the refund thing works the way it does, with Valve keeping their share and the devs having to refund what we paid, we finally have a way to stick it to them and punish them for the shoddy port! It's so beautiful... [editline]23rd June 2015[/editline]
Haha, you bought brink. Oh wait. :C
To be fair Brink was actually kinda good. But it probably needed more maps.
I loved brink, but I was apparently in the minority so it died.
Haha, you bought brink. Oh wait. :C
Brink was a pretty good game that was marketed in a way that wasn't representative of the game at all The game was a pretty good class based multiplayer only formatted shooter that was actually relatively good mechanically speaking, at least IMO. I really loved Brink for the two weeks it was worth playing.
http://community.wbgames.com/t5/Support-for-PC/PC-Performance-issues-we-hear-you/m-p/571341#U571341 At least they have acknowledged it.
Well that's weird. Don't play it for more than two hours or you won't be able to get a refund anymore.
I bought it on G2A.
I bought it on G2A.
You've already played it for more than two hours so it doesn't applay anyway, but the other guy's talked about a refund and only played it for an hour.
For me the game plays at a steady 60-70 fps, but stutters like mad when gliding and driving. I've got a 780ti and an i5 3570 [editline]23rd June 2015[/editline] And that's even on lowest settings. I can crank everything to high and get a consistent 50ish fps but with the same stutter issues when moving quickly or looking around quickly.
Performance patches are surely needed. Once the 60 FPS cap is lifted, performance greatly improves - but the post processing aka motion blur really kills my framerate to unplayable levels. Gonna have to wait or see if disabling motion blur works. I dread the batmobile sequence.
Ok so my specs are a GTX970, i5 4570S, 16gb DDR3 1600 ram, and I'm running the game off a standard harddrive with setting maxed out but the physx stuff is turned off because it requires a restart and I didn't want to sit through the unskippable intro again. I finally booted the game to see how shitty it runs and it's not unplayable. The 30 fps sucks but it doesn't really drop beyond maybe 25. I haven't experienced the severe fps drops you get from entering a new area because I've only played for 38 minutes but the game is smooth for locked at 30fps
This game actually runs really smooth for me. I have gotten no framerate dips at all even with physx and I haven't encountered any bugs. Imagine my luck that I am the only person with a PC capable of playing this
I got the game for free when I purchased my EVGA GTX 980 from Newegg alongside The Witcher 3, and I was kinda excited to try out the game, figuring it'd be a great way to test out the strength of my new video card. So much for that. :v:
Yeah and the games were ludicrously simplistic in comparison, had a homogeneous hardware set to run through and in comparison to modern games were pretty fucking expensive no matter who you were. They aren't comparable at fucking all. A modern game is a massive array of systems communicating in a way that has to be abstract to actually run on the massive variety of hardware configurations out there. Shits going on in the background all the time, the rendering of such a thing isn't straightforward, ensuring that all these systems communicate properly also becomes more complex as we expect more and more from games. Besides, cartridge games did have bugs, some pretty game breaking bugs, that would never be fixed outside of a new version of the cart. Take of the rose tinted glasses friend, you're not making good points when they're based in nostalgia.
Yeah well. Goldeneye works, Batman doesn't. So there The entire point of my post was the games were seen through to some form of completion with Q&A behind it because they knew once it was on the shelves that's it. Today they actually say To hell with it, we'll fix it after launch. Maybe. And even go to some lengths to keep people from realizing this until after they've bought a copy
So apparaently, the Batman Arkham Knight Nvidia keys got changed last minute to not include Harley DLC:
Before yesterday, when you opened the console to check which keys the nvidia code gave us, it was ID 56900 which was the same code given to all pre-orders. This code was registered to my account as well as I checked a couple of weeks ago. Now, the code registered to my account is 71669 which is an id that does not include the Harley quinn pre-order bonus. I did not screenshot my account back then but the thread that I posted below has some people who posted screenshots of their consoles confirming that they had the 56900 id. I don't see why they changed this last minute....Maybe I'm misunderstanding the steam IDs. I would like to hear from someone who bought and pre-ordered the game and see what id they have. Here is a thread a while back that talked about it in early June. I just had the ending spoiled for me and it's not great [sp]everyone finds out that batman is bruce wayne and bruce and alfred fake their deaths[/sp]
