Batman: Arkham Knight's PC port appears to be a disaster

I don't know much about denuvo but doesn't it decrypt files on the fly?
It looks like way too many textures are stored in memory so they don't need to be loaded in slowly, if denuvo would slow texture loading in.

This would kill the GPU if all the RAM is being used up, I can't see any other reason why up to 12gb of ram is used.
