Was that really necessary?
Theyre so chill, I have like 10 in my room atm they get all the bugs
Sometimes they give me a fright by popping down on a sliver of web right in front of my computer screen but they are harmless
I let one live above my bed because fuck mosquitoes, but I think it moved away because I jumped when I woke up when it was next to my face.
There was a Desert Recluse on my computer monitor yesterday, sneaky fucking assholes. One bite from that and I'd probably end up like this person.

Yeah I'll stick to cute jumping spiders.
I don't see how jumping spiders are cute, there just small?
And yet they all share one common personality...
the personality to kill
Well, even sharks have to eat

Big, puppydog-eyes, mustache-like fuzz over their teeth, no freaky-long legs.

I like how it tries to climb the camera, and the cocks its head when he pulls the camera away like "You wot mate?"

Fucking lost it at 0:36.
I like to just observe spiders sometimes. I don't know why, I just like watching them interact with things.
It's like having a little roommate or something.
I have a spiderbro at my office at the toilet. He's watching me shitting and chills in the corner of the room.

That spider apparently learnt love. She wants a hug at 1:03
this thread is full of scared little girls who soil themselves at the first glance of a spider wow
Check you out badass.
Spiders always look like they move frame by frame. It's weird and they should be set afire for doing it.
It's because their legs use hydraulics.

Their bloodpressure spikes whenever they start walking.

You do know that arachnophobia is still highly common, there's nothing they can do about it.
Besides, here in Estonia our spiders are tiny as fuck. You would probably shit yourself if you saw a sydney funnel web or a brazilian wandering spider crawl behind some of your furniture.
Or be adorable as hell.

Seems more like the calm analytical type :v:
Spiders are my favourite little creatures to have in my house
I left my window open one summer and a spider set up a web in the gap between the open window and the rest of the window
The spider caught shitloads of moths and flies that were attracted to come in due to my bedroom light
nah ive seen/touched big foreign spiders aswell (in captivity)
its just that i dont have a fear of spiders, i like them actually
I'm not afraid of spiders too, i'm actually fascinated by them. But kind of a dick move to make fun of people scared of them.
I remember I had this one spider at my window, I would watch it do spidery shit.
He isn't there anymore.
This is some top-notch poetry here, touched me.
-snip- god dammit
anyways spiders are alright until one bit me on my leg and caused a staph infection. Motherfuckers

um when people talk about daddy long legs here they either mean Opiliones or Crane Flys
now, opiliones are huge and creepy and crane flys are erratic and spooky as fuck and i dont get how you would like either of those things
I like Opiliones because they eat mosquitos and moths
There is nothing scary about them at all they can't hurt you
I don't see how jumping spiders are cute, there just small?
Personally I hate the fucking things because when I was younger there was a jumping spider on my wall and it jumped into me with a big ass POP sound and it scared the shit out of me
reading this thread has made me paranoid as fuck now
I flinch at the slightest movement
I like Opiliones because they eat mosquitos and moths

How big are they? The pictures I see make them out to be pretty huge. We don't get them in the UK so I wouldn't know.

We get Harvestmen in the UK, fairly sure they're Opillones. A lot of people call them "Daddy longs legs"
