Apparently a shitload of young people have been turned away being told they're not registered. For fuck's sake, can we just have a clean vote for once?
Less than 30 minutes. The trumpets are sounding.

How reliable are exit polls?
How reliable are exit polls?
Correct in the last 5 elections. Vine is going to virtual Downing Street again.
Apparently a shitload of young people have been turned away being told they're not registered. For fuck's sake, can we just have a clean vote for once?
I've read the same thing all over facebook, didn't someone say the same thing happened to them earlier in the thread?

What do people recommend, BBC, Sky or ITV?
If they are fascinated, it means it's unusual, right? A Tory landslide wouldn't be fascinating, right? RIGHT?
It's a tease, isn't it? Perhaps we can dare to dream. Though there's only ~15 minutes left, so maybe more like a microsleep.
Probably sarcasm :(
What do people recommend, BBC, Sky or ITV?
BBC personally.
I've read the same thing all over facebook, didn't someone say the same thing happened to them earlier in the thread?
Yes. Seems to be a big deal for late registrations. I expect the system didn't cope well with the unexpected volume. This could have an effect, but inevitably they'll blame the voters.
If they are fascinated, it means it's unusual, right? A Tory landslide wouldn't be fascinating, right? RIGHT?
If there's a surprise corbyn surge I'll be happy on two parts: 1 - good for the UK 2 - good for my pocket. Any result than Tory majority will net me about £80.
What do people recommend, BBC, Sky or ITV?
I actually quite like the Channel 4 stuff. Always been a bit of fun.
Theresa May will win bigly.
What do people recommend, BBC, Sky or ITV?
BBC because Dimbleby is a leg and they've got crazy green screen shit.
If they are fascinated, it means it's unusual, right? A Tory landslide wouldn't be fascinating, right? RIGHT?
I dunno, I am detecting a good bit of british sarcasm there (It's the comic he chose to go with it). I'm guessing that Labour surge the polls had been showing has failed to materialise.
I just don't want Theresa May to treat my rights like a field of wheat.
Why is this timeline just so awful
I actually quite like the Channel 4 stuff. Always been a bit of fun.
Channel 4 news is my favourite, Jon Snow, Krish, Cathy Newman, Michael Crick. The dream team. Cover a lot of stuff the other networks won't so much, their coverage of Syria over the past couple of years has been brilliant. Undeniably left leaning.
I just don't want Theresa May to treat my rights like a field of wheat.
Don't we all, mate. But unfortunately the older generation are quite happy to trade away our rights for the illusion of security for the last of their days.
well it's time to start drinking heavily so i can delude myself into thinking i got the result i wanted.

They even put two letters through my doorbox telling me to vote SNP. According to them the race in Scotland is between SNP and the Tories; if they actually wanted to win they should be trying to split the centre and left vote rather than consolidate behind SNP. Plus their shitshow of a campaign...

Thing is, where I am, they might actually succeed through that because they've convinced a lot of the coastal fishing villages that they're going to give us back the fishing industry. And loads of the Oil Workers where I am are going Tory. I don't want to lose Big Eck as my MP, but I'm pretty sure that's going to happen.
10pm RESULTLS RESULTLS RESULTLS RESULTLS
Con down, Lab up!
Well well well, Conservatives short of a majority. Now that could be interesting.
