Damn, Labor was still ahead when I checked 20 minutes ago. What have you people been doing over there?
There was always going to be a blue surge near the end. Hopefully we get a hung parliament.
I think I supported the wrong candidate.

Best we can hope for now is a hung parliament
That's better than 90% of the polls predicted, be glad.
I'm just gonna go hug my bottle of Irn Bru and hope for a hung parliament when I wake up tomorrow.
Scots turning blue, it's like a fever dream I once had...
Banff and Buchan went Tory, as expected.

Free bikes for everyone, to combat bike theft.
That's some next level play right there.
So if it does turn into a hung parliament, what would the probable coalition be? Would it have to be a Tory+(whoever) partnership or could a Labour+LibDem or other coalition come into power even if Conservatives have a plurality? Is there even any party that would ally with the Tories? I don't think we covered this in the two weeks this American spent in high school learning about British government and politics.
Tories just gained more from scotland.. fuck.
CON - 268 LAB - 237 SNP - 33 DUP - 10 LD - 10 OTH - 11
30 point lead, 80 seats left
BBC forecast for Cons is down to 316
my god that's disgusting.
brighton kemptown from con to lab with 10,000 majority.

I actually really like the idea of mps needing to live in an area for more than 5 years to represent it.
BBC just said they have a source that said it's 50/50 on either may will go or not
if tories get 315 or less, the DUP coalition won't be enough
fuck its close

Stoke Cental being called for Labour, and one of the Brighton constituencies
Some are saying lab/ld/snp will form a famsquad coalition for majority, others are saying SNP will fuck off to the tories.
Ian Duncan Smith saying May should stay on because we need stability, lol. Oh the irony.

If she stays, I think it's more, "Your fucking mess luv, sort it out"

The tories are now demanding they retract their call for a second indyref. Plus SNP are pretty left wing, I doubt they'll fuck off to the tories tbh

Lab+Lib+SNP don't have the numbers for a majority.
It will be a Conservative minority government propped up by the DUP (that's the only way the numbers can work tbh)
OR a Grand Coalition with the Conservatives and Labour
others are saying SNP will fuck off to the tories.
These people need to fuck off to reality :dog:
I can't believe we still don't know who has won in Hastings

Not in a million years. The SNP despise the Tories, with a passion that no other party really musters.
May going would be a win for us lot, in general people, her declaring war on the internet was very dangerous and clearly a personal desire of hers.

Amber Rudd apparently constantly demanding recounts. Seems pretty obvious she's lost imo.

It's not Amber Rudd who can call a recount - it is the returning officer iirc.

Hastings is happening lets go
my shitty constituency with 31,000 votes for Bill Cash, who claims shit loads of expenses for his house in Bridgnorth, not in our constituency.
Meanwhile Sam Hale, the labour MP for this area, was at my house yesterday dropping off leaflets.
edit: fuck it, s-o-t south and newcastle under lyme will prob be labour
