Nick Timothy: Why I resigned
I take responsibility for my part in this election campaign, which was the oversight of our policy programme. In particular, I regret the decision not to include in the manifesto a ceiling as well as a floor in our proposal to help meet the increasing cost of social care. But I would like to make clear that the bizarre media reports about my own role in the policy’s inclusion are wrong: it had been the subject of many months of work within Whitehall, and it was not my personal pet project. I chose not to rebut these reports as they were published, as to have done so would have been a distraction for the campaign. But I take responsibility for the content of the whole manifesto, which I continue to believe is an honest and strong programme for government.

Has the coalition been signed into power yet?
No, May has to make a deal by the 19th iirc to get a Queen's speech through. So you will know by then.

i threw back a whole glass of bourbon about every hour from 10pm onward on thursday and i'm still feeling the aftereffects. i'm pretty sure when the cumulative hangover hits me on Monday i will literally die.

all i really remember was cheering at the continued labor lead that only started to die around like 6am, and falling over in my kitchen. worth it mate. well worth it.
This COULD go against the Good Friday Agreement. The UK government is supposed to play the role of independent mediator between the Unionists and Republicans (or whatever the labels are) and not show favor to either side. By entering a deal with the DUP, they're basically going right against this term of the agreement.
That's concerning.
no. I don't think they've actually come up with a deal yet, they're still negotiating
Won't find out today as they can't work on a Sunday 
Whoops, don't even know what day it is on this shift pattern anymore.
Apparently, the DUP don't want to form a coalition until Team GB's name is changed. Eh.
At least one constituency seems to have had issues with votes not being counted;

Sure, he still won even without them, but it makes you wonder how many other councils fucked up their polling processes.

Amber Rudd and the magic 300 votes that appeared from no-where on her third recount.
Amber Rudd and the magic 300 votes that appeared from no-where on her third recount.
"No, shh, we found those down the sides of the couch, they were always there we just misplaced them"
Did they actually state why those votes were missed at any point?
Our voting system is so fucked and Amber Rudds recounts prove that.
Amber Rudd and the magic 300 votes that appeared from no-where on her third recount.
Amber Rudd makes me think of the kind of overbearing mother who, when her bratty child fails a test, blames the teacher and the test then demands the child redoes that same test only with a textbook and internet access and extra time. I can just imagine her standing in front of the vote counters demanding recounts until they finally tell her she wins.

He's a twat in general really.
The Democratic Unionist Party have agreed in principle a "confidence and supply" deal to support a Conservative government, it has been announced.
Theresa May was left eight seats short of an overall majority in the general election, while the DUP won 10 seats.
Tory chief whip Gavin Williamson went to Belfast on Saturday for talks with the Northern Irish party.
Downing Street said the details of the outline deal would be discussed at a cabinet meeting on Monday.
...
A "confidence and supply" deal is not a full coalition, but an agreement which sees the smaller party support the larger one in key votes such as the budget.

Didnt he spend the entire brexit campaign telling people not to vote at all?

I would like a short and pathetic Tory government to deal with the idea that they're actually the only competent and stable party.
Nah, it was the previous general election, he told nobody to vote at all and then made a u-turn and told everyone to vote for Labour iirc. Then he fucked off.
He's done it before that too. Every now and then he'll turn up at some rally to get his face on the TV and spout shit. He's absolutely in love with himself and likes to pretend he's some revolutionary of the people, except he never has any fucking clue what he's talking about.

I like Russel Brand. He gets a lot of justified flak but unlike the majoirty of public figures he acknowledges his fuck ups - like the miliband situation. He's openly discussed how much of an idiot he was doing that interview with Miliband.
I like his transparency, which is something we don't see a lot. I've never heard if him being an outright dick, every post I've seen by someone has talked about how nice he is. I even saw a post by his neighbour who said he helped them move in and bought them some housewarming gifts.
The emperors new shoes was also a pretty decent documentary that brought attention to one of the biggest issues in economics right now which is the insane tax dodging and disparity in wages.
Sure he's vain as all hell and rich as fuck but he's not an asshole about it. Just because you disagree with his views on politics doesn't make him an asshole.

For Russel Brand that guy's ideology is almost close to Green Party and especially in 2015 election cycle as I remembers it that even he very going to said his viewers to vote [English/Welsh] Green Party.
But still he instead tell people to vote Labour (spite for Tactical voting) despite again he more ideologically progressive.
