Think I'd prefer Ruth as leader.
Gove is back as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Andrea Leadsom is now the Commons leader.
:what: This guy doesn't seem to give a shit about climate change.
So is Theresa May still officially in power? I'm getting a bit lost in all that's happening recently

She has the opportunity to form a government, which she is trying to do with the support of the DUP. But until that happens not really. Though I don't think she's officially kicked out as PM until she fails to get the Queens speech passed.

Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
I think this is a tricky one because before you even get to issues with fairness- You have the fact that an awful lot of politicians rely on Ignorance to stay in power. It's not a problem that everyone want's to fix.
Democracy dies in darkness, as they say.

Explains a lot.

So the people who voted for May based on the manifesto are getting a watered down one, nice. Not that I supported May's policies anyway.

Now she's going to piss the Queen off, too. Especially if it cuts in to the Royal Ascot instead.
Can we please have another election and put Corbyn in charge? Preferably when I can vote in a new consistency in Southampton which actually matters.

goodness no, they couldn't possibly... could they?
Is this some desperate bid to gain the support of the UKIP herd?
His attendance as an MEP was 40.7%, if we're lucky he could keep that up and stay the fuck away.
farage is the turd that just won't flush

because none of the Conservatives' other recent attempts at a Machiavellian power-play have backfired on them spectacularly, no siree

All words and no brains/effort sure is going to improve brexit. With diplomacy like referring to the brexit victory as having not a single shot fired despite being just after Jo Cox's murder you can bet this will end well.

The DUP are just fucking with us now aren't they
lmao if they think Nigel has the balls to do that, he fucked off right away after the brexit results came in.
Man, I hope enough senior Tory MPs who're pissed at May's fuckery have the stones to pull their confidence and help Corbyn bring May down so the UK can get an election to produce a leader with a mandate that doesn't require handing the Irish equivalent to the Tea Party a choke chain attached to the PM's neck. This is practically Trump levels of "bumbling into the worst decisions for the stupidest reasons".
When did we enter the timeline where Mr. Bean is mind-controlling multiple politicians across the globe?
lmao if they think Nigel has the balls to do that, he fucked off right away after the brexit results came in.
He said in an interview on election night that he might consider coming back into politics if someone is needed to do brexit negotiations (if I remember correctly)

Have they forgotten Nigel pretty much bailed out the moment the Brexit results were announced?

From what ive seen the general reaction from people who liked him was completely free of suspicion.
"Well he wanted us to leave, now we are. His job's done! :downs:"

I know the strategy, The DUP are going to use Farage, to get more seats if they do another election.
I know the strategy, The DUP are going to use Farage, to get more seats if they do another election.
That's the worst possible strategy they could use now that Labour is polling higher than the Tories. Tories will not agree to another election because they know they will lose it.

Labour got a precentage of UKIP Voters, DUP is going to pull them towards them.

Does the DUP even have prospective MPs anywhere outside of Ireland?
Does the DUP even have prospective MPs anywhere outside of Ireland?
No of course not.
No of course not.
That's what I thought, So that's going to make it pretty hard for them to lure UKIP fans away from Labour en mass.
I find it incredible how the party once headed by Ian fucking Paisley is in the running to coalition with the Tories.
