I didn't even know Fox Hunting was illegal.

Blair made it illegal. It was basically rich assholes on horses watching their dogs slowly rip apart foxes. It was a fucked up practice that served nothing.

fox hunting is not traditional hunting in the sense you might think of. although you're from canada so you might have an idea.. basically it's like The Running Man but with foxes, they loose a pack of fucking dogs and chase the fox on horseback, and let it be brutally murdered by a pack of hunting hounds. it's not like felling a buck with a 12ga, it's literally a ritualistic bloodsport, and in some families it's tradition to smear the face of the youngest member of the hunting party with the fox's blood. im all for hunting as a sport, but not foxhunting. if you're gonna kill an animal do it quickly and cleanly, don't chase it until it can't run anymore then have it devoured with a pack of dogs.

It's a sick, sick sport (if you can call it that)
Fox hunting has been eliminated
It'll be back; either in earnest or as a distraction for some even worse.
Oh I know what actual Fox Hunting is haha.

Jeremy has really come into his own as a statesman since the start of the general election campaign.

Theresa May steps in and just goes on a completely unrelated tangent about terrorism and thanking the DofE?
Thank goodness, such a weird policy to push for
My guess it was to gain more of the Rich's (who I guess were the ones doing most of the Fox Hunting) vote.
My mum is a Tory voter and even she agreed that it's stupid when I asked her "What is the actual benefit of hunting foxes?"
A lot of fox hunters just do it anyway, regardless of the law.
Pisses me right off how a party can openly campaign for animal cruelty and still win votes.
Two dogs biting each other to shreds while a group of chavs chug special brew, or a bunch of beagles tearing apart a fox while rich tits sip champagne-
The only difference between fox hunting and dog fighting is the price of admission and some additional pomp and ceremony.

They frame it as pest control. Plaster over the animal cruelty aspect by paying some farmer to go on tv and talk about his chickens being killed by foxes.
Yeah, they also conveniently forget to mention that they only set their dogs on a few pre-caught foxes shortly after releasing them in a controlled area.
If foxes really were such a horrible pest that they needed to have their numbers controlled we would be better served just giving shotguns to the people these "hunters" hire to catch foxes for them.

Jesus christ, 30 minutes in and Boris looks like he's ready to give up
"Am I Prime Minister yet?"

i love this argument. foxes are only major pests in urban and agricultural zones yet they don't tend to hunt in those areas. you dont see a fucking hunting pack in chiswick do you?? lol

i mean foxes are bastards that eat babies but if you're gonna kill something just fucking kill it, don't drag it out.

It was 54-13 to May when the election was called. It has been an absurd turnaround.
given that the queens speech only just happened (and essentially a new government has been formed), it's an absolutely terrible embarrassment for her to be less popular than the leader of the opposition

The chanting after Corbyn's Glastonbury speech was on top form :v: Obviously the BBC elected NOT to show the crowd during the speech. Don't want to show up the PM's ability to speak to people. Thankfully other outlets did.

He just needs to keep this up while the Tories make a mess of Brexit.

What channel were you watching the speech on? I was watching it live on the BBC News Channel and they showed the crowd plenty of times.
There are plenty of things to criticise the BBC for - but stick to legit criticisms not second-hand falsehoods. The only source I've seen for your claims are people on social media who obviously didn't watch the speech.
Good speech though.
EDIT: Here's proof from a pro-Labour source:

I watched it via the BBC's live Glastonbury feed. I'm pleasantly surprised to hear it was live on the BBC News Channel. They didn't give a fuck about his speeches during the election.
I love how we have heard literally zero details about this DUP deal in over two weeks, keeping everyone in the dark till the last second is becoming a common Tory tactic

My favourite caption for this was "Jeremy Corbyn: IPA synpathiser"
