like the labor movement in the early 20th century. the cnt has also been a big part of spanish labor movement(cnt is actually who helped organize the anarcho-syndicalist societies in catalonia during the scw), there are syndicalist and anarcho-syndicalist unions in britain. basically your labor unions and labor parties owe a lot to anarchists and early labor movements.

So sometimes they are the master arbiter despite being a minority and sometimes they kill their own people and bomb places
i like how you're still ignoring my post and instead posting stupid shit
You cited violent examples earlier in the thread
I even said that at the top of this page
How blind can you be?
And that makes you think there can't be anarchy without violence because...?
And that makes you think there can't be anarchy without violence because...?
So in every iteration it's violent except in this magical would-be scenario?
Keep dreaming.

hey man if you want to talk about how much we owe to communist movements I'm allowed to refute that crap
why do you keep saying communist? almost none of my posts have mentioned communism.
[editline]11th February 2013[/editline]
labor, anarchism, syndicalism, socialism, and libertarianism are NOT the same as communism.
why do you keep saying communist? almost none of my posts have mentioned communism.
So you want to talk about anarcho-communism but you don't want to talk about anarcho-communism
I'm sure.
"Syndicalism is a type of economic system proposed as a replacement for capitalism and an alternative to state socialism, which uses Confederations of collectivised trade unions or industrial unions. It is a form of socialist economic corporatism that advocates interest aggregation of multiple non-competitive categorised units to negotiate and manage an economy."
"Socialism refers to an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy."
"Anarchism is often defined as a political philosophy which holds the state to be undesirable, unnecessary, or harmful."
"Communism (from Latin communis - common, universal) is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production, as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of this social order."
at least learn your terms dude

"The Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT; "National Confederation of Labour") is a Spanish confederation of anarcho-syndicalist labour unions affiliated with the International Workers Association (IWA; Spanish: AIT – Asociación Internacional de los Trabajadores). When working with the latter group it is also known as CNT-AIT. Historically, the CNT has also been affiliated with the Federación Anarquista Ibérica (Iberian Anarchist Federation – FAI). In this capacity it was referred to as the CNT-FAI. Throughout its history, it has played a major role in the Spanish labor movement."
i have never been talking about anarcho communism, i'v been talking about socialist and anarchist ideas and practices

Please continue to backpedal

maybe learn to fucking read or something buddy. communism is spelt c-o-m-m-u-n-i-s-m, not s-o-u-r-c-e. easy mistake to make...if you are clinically retarded i guess.

Yes because I cannot read when you clearly asked for a post where you defended communism and mentioned it and I linked you right to it
Maybe I need to stick your nose into it? Because you don't even remember the things you say?
i defended the anarchist societies in spain. it was wrong to say anarcho-syndicalist/communist because they really weren't communist, although the spanish communist party participated in it to some extent.
oh well. maybe once you stop getting a hardon for saying the word "communist" you might actually learn how to think critically about the things that are being said or written to you.
[editline]11th February 2013[/editline]
and it still doesn't explain this piece of idiocy:
when i was clearly not talking about communism at all. and then you make the claim that you were "refuting that crap" when the only thing you said was lacking any point.

Feel free to check
ok so can you actually stop ignoring what i'm posting yet?
ok so can you actually stop ignoring what i'm posting yet?
I just replied to your post. Do you want me to post the part where I roll my eyes when you admitted you had said and defended anarcho-communism? "I didn't!!" "okay maybe I did a little"

It's like we've gone back to page 5
[editline]10th February 2013[/editline]
Wanna pull the "I'm not even that ideology!!" again? Even though we just pointed out how you were defending them?
guess not.
guess not.
You have this awful habit of accusing others of being retarded, lacking critical thinking, not reading, and refusing to reply when you do that very thing then expect others to work at a higher standard
scout1 just give it up man, you're just pretty much displaying your lack of knowledge here.
[editline]11th February 2013[/editline]
Anarchy has NOTHING to do with violence. Again, you watched too much SLC Punk! By your logic every ideology has to be run on violence. You're pulling everything you can out of the arsenal that is your rectum in a desperate attempt to refute anything anybody has to say. You're blatantly ignoring points yawnmen is addressing

The examples you cited were incredibly violent movements, I think it's a pretty valid criticism to say they were violent???

Did you even read this thread?
Dear god almighty. Just read through the thread, and yes I know this is the internet, but I expected at least a modicum of short term memory here. It's like I'm reading Scout's responses to an Evie that defends... anarchism, right? I double checked the last three pages, just to be sure.

Do you read posts before you get a hard on for striving to be correct
Do you read posts before you get a hard on for striving to be correct
You say that like being correct is a bad thing. No wonder you've argued so terribly.
