John McCain was born in a Naval Air Station along the Panama Canal, a U.S. territory, not a state of the Union. He would have to become naturalized once he emigrated to the U.S. and would not have been eligible for presidency.
John McCain was born to American Parents, thus making in an American citizen from birth regardless the location he was given birth in.
The same applied to Obama even if he was born in Kenya (which he wasn't) so I never saw a reason to see the damn thing to begin with. But now here it is, great, there we go.

He would be a citizen but I think "natural born citizen" is different.
Also, look at the first comments I saw at Fox:
There are a few problems with the document.
1) It is a layered document. This has already been found using programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. Layered means different sections of different documents were structured together to form a complete one. In other words, it is not one whole document itself, it is made up of parts put together.
2)The other issue is the fonts. Typewriters back then did not use the symbol "1" for the number one, but rather a lowercase "L" (l). The other different types of font in the document are inconsistent and are not cohesive when examined carefully. This is not my opinion, this has been examined by experts, you can look it up yourselves.
If any of these prove true, it is a forgery.
:downs:
If you all dont have AI or Phototsho you can use Adobe Reader (which is free) to show 2 of the layers....
Step by step....
1) Install Adobe Reader if you do not have it
2) Go to the WH site and get the pdf (Open it in the webpage and click download)
3) Find the PDF to saved location and open it with Adobe Reader.
4) Right click the Birth Certificate and Click "display preferences"
5) Disable the "Show large images" selection.
6) Now all you are left with is the text layer which was pasted to a background....
The other way is to use AI which is shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
Im not even a birther and I am CERTAIN this is an absolute fake.
Oh I'm fucking sure.

unless of course you include the race baiting, class warfare, threatening the lives of republicans, spending more than what Bush and Clinto did combined, passing healthcare, big government, Libya, bowing to the sh eiks, telling everyone in Europe that america is not great, leaving the border open, taking credit for Bush's iraq turn-around, losing afghanistan, losing in Iran, having the worst israe -US relations in history, telling illegal immigrants are same as legal ones, lying about Gitmo...
I can almost see the drool running down his chin through the screen.

Actually no, unless he decided he wasn't a US citizen (or his parents) he could have been born on Mars and he'd still be eligable for the presidency.
Without trying to tie any political affiliation in with this, why the fuck didn't he do this sooner?
He shouldn't have done it at all.
John McCain was born in a Naval Air Station along the Panama Canal, a U.S. territory, not a state of the Union. He would have to become naturalized once he emigrated to the U.S. and would not have been eligible for presidency.

It's different. He would have gotten a birth certificate, citizenship for the host country most likely, then after a week or two, citizenship granted "from birth." Tis what happened to me, and I'm eligible.
John McCain isn't eligible for president? Then why the hell was he around to run... Stupid Republicans breaking their own rules
:) Don't be dumb and talk about stuff you have no idea about.
I absolutely can't stand the arguing about this shit. I mean, I may not totally agree with Obama (not a republican either), but I'm not going to bitch and complain about it, he won fair and square. Anyway, he's well nearing the end of his (first?) presidency. It really doesn't matter at this point in time.
He would be a citizen but I think "natural born citizen" is different.
Not in that scenario.
John McCain is eligible for presidency because he was born in a U.S. territory.
I don't understand why he didn't do this earlier. Just to shut people up about it.
Thank god it's over... or as close as it will ever be to over. Always stragglers.

Not over. People already calling it fake.
The best way to beat a birther is to say "lol haha he cheated and won anyway hahaha a black man is president hahaha."

Well I've been hearing conflicting opinions on the phrase for a while now but there's this:
A memorandum to Congress dated April 3, 2009, written by the Congressional Research Service, states--
Considering the history of the constitutional qualifications provision, the common use and meaning of the phrase "natural-born subject" in England and in the Colonies in the 1700s, the clause's apparent intent, the subsequent action of the first Congress in enacting the Naturalization Act of 1790 (expressly defining the term "natural born citizen" to include a person born abroad to parents who are United States citizens), as well as subsequent Supreme Court dicta, it appears that the most logical inferences would indicate that the phrase "natural born Citizen" would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship "at birth" or "by birth".[18]

The problem is that it's never been officially ruled on since because the Act is no longer in force.
That "natural born" means anything different was just one of those things I read about awhile ago and haven't bothered to do much research since.
John McCain isn't eligible for president? Then why the hell was he around to run... Stupid Republicans breaking their own rules
He is eligible for president. The solution to a retarded right-wing conspiracy theory is not to create a retarded left-wing conspiracy theory.
the reps are annoying, not just for this, they fight the demos every step of the fucking way. goes to show their own agenda is much more important to them than this country
I read from Glenn Beck on th' teevee that Barak HUSSEIN Obama is a sekrit MOZLIM from AFRIKA what was installed to be Prez-i-dent by th' Illuminati!!! These papers is a forgery!!!

haha the dude on the left smokes cowboy killers
I think it was stupid of Obama to even acknowledge Trump. Let him spout his retarded shit, because even after releasing his birth certificate they're bitching about his grades. Like who fucking cares.
If anything, this whole "obamahamarama was not born in the US" is basically a strategy on Trump's part to gain support from rednecks, most republicans, etc.
And it's working.

but it made him near-unelectable to the rest of the population and, by doing this, Obama is taking away Trump's biggest "I'm terrible, don't vote for me" sign. I'm concerned that by election time, a lot of people who would vote for Trump if he weren't a birther will have forgotten about this
May shut up Trump, but sure as hell ain't gonna shut up those stupid conspiracy theorists...
hawaii killed jfk
but the birthers are right, dont you guys realise, he was born overseas, I mean, is Hawaii not in the middle of an ocean :P
because he shouldn't have had to
It's more because, as soon as you release a private document, they're going to ask for a different private document, and if you say no they're going to say "aha! Why'd you release THAT document but not THIS one? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING OBONGO"
It's more because, as soon as you release a private document, they're going to ask for a different private document, and if you say no they're going to say "aha! Why'd you release THAT document but not THIS one? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING OBONGO"
There's really no winning with people this thick, I think we all know that. I hate to say it, but even if he'd never even acknowledged them, they'd still be making a lot of noise.

They already did this too. Trump is asking him for his college grades now.
Finally Fox News can shut up about Obama's birth certificate...

Welp so much for that theory.
Why is Obama the only president that people don't think was born here? What possible reasoning could these retards have?
Two factors, one of them being he's black, the other being that his middle name is Hussein.
I read from Glenn Beck on th' teevee that Barak HUSSEIN Obama is a sekrit MOZLIM from AFRIKA what was installed to be Prez-i-dent by th' Illuminati!!! These papers is a forgery!!!

Just watched on the news as Donald Trump took all of the credit for the president releasing the certificate.
Along the lines of "I am so proud that I could bring this discussion to a head".
Fuck that guy. Seriously.

he seems to know what hes doing though :v: as far as getting republicans to like him
going for the IM GOD approach i guess
Honestly to me It's like he's saying "So what? I'm a President now so who cares?" You can't believe everything someone says. It's really easy to make a cover-up when you are the US government. It might be real, but it might be not.
