Scarecrow could have been cool, if they didn't give him a total of 5 minutes of screen time across both movies. Seriously, a tazer? A fuckin tazer and he runs off crying?

I'm trying so hard to not mix Scarecrow with a meme, but you're making it hard.
Fucking Johnny Depp, I hate him so much. If he's in the next Batman movie I'll totally rage.

Edward James Olmos for the Riddler.
You hate an actor that's talented, but slightly over-rated? I love that logic.

You'd run off too if you got tazered in the face
[editline]06:53AM[/editline]
Batman could shrug it off though
Why can't they just leave it now and come back in 20 years for The Dark Knight Returns?

Johnny Depp is a fantastic actor. He brings a certain charm to each character he plays, he chooses roles based on the script/character and the director, as opposed to guaranteed box office figures, and he's a very humble and down to earth guy.
Johnny would be PERFECT for riddler, I mean look at fucking Sweeney Todd. Also, who the hell said Jim Carey only stars a character once? *Face palm* Dumb and Dumber? *Face palm* Ace Ventura.

He only played the guy from D&D once, and Ace Ventura was because he was locked in to play him twice due to a contract.
I seriously doubt they'll do the penguin or Mr freeze. This rehash and redirection of batman was purposefully grounded in reality and that's what's worked for it. A more realistic take is the driving force of the new franchise.
Both Mr. Freeze and the Penguin are way too comic and out there to be pulled of in a serious sense.
The only villains I see being portrayble without wrecking the realistic direction is The Joker (again), Mr Zsaz (c'mon he's a fucking serial killer) or as is now the most likely choice: The Riddler.
Bane would be a cool minor villain, but he's just that. A Minor villain, a one trick pony.
Hugh Jackman for riddler.
Hugh Jackman is seriously overrated as an actor. He's not a bad actor, but he's certainly nowhere near as fucking great as people make him out to be.
CLAYFACE!!!!!!!!!!
/caps
They should do Copperhead.
Heath's death fucked it up big time for them, because everyone will look at the new villain and think "He's nothing compared to the Joker".
It's not like there's any shortage of villains to use...

Actually, Victor Zsasz seems to be the logical choice, he was in Batman Begins after all.

All this art shit makes me annoyed.
Basically, there is not a damned thing for the next Batman movie, noone has been casted, no villain has been chosen and there is NO SCRIPT coming from Michael Caine himself.
Peter Noone is in this? Awesome.
Am I the only one kind of sad about this?
:comeback:
If any of you actually paid attention to the story other than OMFG BALE HAS A LISP, you'd see two distinct hints towards 2 new villains.
During the scene where the guy comes up to Fox's office and goes all 'hey yo i know who batman is give me shit and i wont go telling', you might realize, 'hey, they call him 'Mister Reese'. that almost sounds like 'Mysteries!!!11111ofmg'
The other one is when Bruce goes down with Fox to his storage place to check on new equipment, and Bruce asks if it can protect against dogs. Fox replies with 'Well, it'll protect against cats' or something to that effect.
And yes, Nolan specifically has said many a times that these movies are grounded in reality, and that he wouldn't do the penguin. I can see the Riddler, but I'm not entirely sure how Catwoman would pop up.
I don't think anyone has a fuckin clue how to clean up after Heath dying. The story was obviously supposed to conclude with a third act, but they can't bloody well replace him.
The story doesn't need the Joker to be continued. They sort of wrapped it up with the Joker when he was caught. What they didn't do was make it clear on whether or not Two-Face actually died from his fall. I think he did, but dammit it really isn't clear! They could include Two-Face in this next movie for all we know!
I really hope the Riddler is chosen for this next movie, and more so, I hope they chose to make another movie!
I love Johnny Depp as much as the next faggot but he's really starting to be ridiculously overcast
Haha same thing with Seth Rogan. There has been a movie that has come out with him every month. A while back when he was on the Daily Show, Jon Stewart asked "Is there a month that has movie that you are not in?" and Seth was like "No :v:".
Actually, I think they set Zsaz up in the first one. He's the most likely.

They showed his funeral. He's dead.
Zsaz is a definite possibility, he had a very short cameo in the first movie. Also, I think that Bane is the most likely of villains. He is also the smartest, and most powerful of his villains. It's a shame that the old Batman movies ruined him.
The Penguin could be done, in the comics, he's not some sort of half penguin, he's just a really short, somewhat fat, large nosed man who has an obsession with birds.
David Tennant or David Hyde Pierce would do the Riddler much more justice than the ballsy Johnny Depp. Not to downplay Johnny Depp as an actor or anything, but the celebrity image which surrounds him is of a quirky yet ultimately understandable (or attractive) character; the Riddler is just a psychotic who is unable to lie (hence the fact that he leaves riddles everywhere for Batman to find and decipher) and who really has nothing but his intellect going for him: he's almost always portrayed as a coward when it comes to actual combat, for example.
David Tennant has the intensity and magnanimity of character to portray someone like the Riddler, as self-confident and as deluded as he is. David Hyde Pierce, who I'd prefer in the role, has the eccentricity down to a T (see; his role as Niles in Frasier), and who is most definitely an actor outstanding enough to be able to demonstrate some of the uglier aspects of the Riddler's personality; he's not a likeable character, in much the same way that the Joker isn't a likeable character - they have the mystique and appeal of supervillains, but they aren't good human beings in any sense.

Jackman and Bale had great rival chemistry in 'The Prestige,' seeing those two going against each-other there makes me feel confident. That and Nolan directed the film, it would make the film feel full circle (Along with some Bowie).

I think that David Hyde Pierce would fit the role of the Riddler perfectly.
I'd generally love to see Hoffman but I can't imagine him as a Batman villain.
yes there is
I wish they'd cast Daniel Day-Lewis as something, I honestly think he could play the joker better than Heath did, it's just too bad we'll never see it. I think, perhaps, they should use him as one of the more deeper characters we have left to work with.

Shit! HOW THE FUCK DID I FORGET THAT?! NOW I REMEMBER..............I keep getting the feeling that it ends when Batman rides off on his bike, but it doesn't. But since I felt that, I kept thinking that it was unclear because they sort of dropped focus on Two-Face/Harvey Dent and focused on Batman. I mean hell, it's not like his head was split open or anything very graphic, so it was hard to tell. Rate me dumb.
