Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
One of the most confusing and awesome lines I have ever heard.
I love that movie...
David Tennant for Riddler
David Tennant for Riddler
Fuck yes.
Harley Quinn character would be funny. Revenge after Jokers death perhaps? Kinda shitty idea.
V was good... .
V was an OK film in its own right, but as a film of V for Vendetta it completely missed the point of the whole novel. Alan Moore was right to disown it.
ZSAAAASZ
Do want Zsasz.
Agree
Anyone read the Joker graphic novel? That would be a good place to look for Batman villains, as they're portrayed realistically. Even Croc.

I keep seeing that in the nerd section at Waterstones and keep wondering if it is worth getting. Is it?

I liked it. It's pretty cool. It's got the Heath Ledger-style glasgow smile on the Joker, too.

M_Bs right, there is absolutely no way to bring Harley in without the Joker, and they can't do the Joker because of Ledger.
Also Zsasz isn't really that great of an idea, sure he's got a story and all that but he isn't really engaging as a character and wouldn't have good dialogue. Same with Bane.
I would have really liked to see Harley in the next film but as much as it breaks my heart it's not going to happen.
I'm still down for Poison Ivy or Scarface/Ventriloquist or Penguin. Clayface not so much, he'd be totally CGI when he wasn't taking on the form of another person which might be cool but it's a gamble if they'd do it right or not. Actually, if they were to directly continue from the Dark Knight, they could do Twoface and then bring in someone else like the Riddler or one of the ones I mentioned above. They could just mention that the Joker is in Arkham or Blackgate if they felt the need to.

Batman never used it, Bane did, and Bane is Batmans biggest threat after the Joker.
I know Batman never took Venom, that's why I said I liked him because he didn't really have superpowers.

Oh lol. Their gonna re-cast Joker, Matter what.
But i don't think Joker will be in the movie as much of course since the next one will not be about him.

I disagree, people were really attached to Ledger as the role and it's kinda soon to just forget about him.
That may be show business but I really don't think they will right away. After all, he did get captured in The Dark Knight, they can use that to conveniently not show him although he may have some influence over the characters through prison letters or what not.

Like i said If they do write Joker in they will cast somebody to replace it always happens in Hollywood matter what. Yeah he did capture The Dark Knight but the next movie wont be about him IF the Joker makes an appearance in it. Joker may as well not be written in the story but not because of Heath being dead, Different Story different characters. Hell look at Maggie Gyllenhaal she replaced Katie Holmes and i thought she was a way better actress then Katie but lolol this is every fan-boys Joker so they will say if whoever does get casted as Joker will say he sucks even before a trailer of the movie has been seen.

The thing is, they have no reason to feature Joker in the next movie, so they won't out of respect to Ledger.
However the movie after that maybe.
Why do people keep suggesting Two-Face as being one of the villains in the next movie? HE'S DEAD and not coming back.
Why do people keep suggesting Two-Face as being one of the villains in the next movie? HE'S DEAD and not coming back.
wait he died in the Dark Knight?
my bad I thought he was still alive.

They shouldn't decide whatever he should be in the movie because of Heath they just should decide on whatever Joker does in the story and whatever hes there or not.

It's not a question of what they should or shouldn't do. They aren't going to.
Because a chemical similar to super steroids that's within the realm of reality is totally outside the realm of batman.
It's bullshit to hold off a character just because an actor is dead it's not fair other people can do it too.
But I'm not saying they should add him in to the story i want new characters to view.
Well, they cannot hold off for long The Joker is pretty much the main bad guy in batman, it's just a matter of getting another actor who can match or even better our dear departed friend.
wait he died in the Dark Knight?

[sp]He was tackled out of a window into the ground, there was even a funeral service[/sp]
Scarecrow could have been cool, if they didn't give him a total of 5 minutes of screen time across both movies. Seriously, a tazer? A fuckin tazer and he runs off crying?
Scarecrow is a bitch, He uses gas and shit to fuck you up before he even fights.
[sp]He was tackled out of a window into the ground, there was even a funeral service[/sp]
Well that was fast
Twoface was a major villain, but in the Dark Knight he only lived for a day or two?
Jeez, I guess I should watch it again.

Do you know how many movies they have made that had absolutely no mention of the Joker?
They can do it again one more time.

I'm not trying to justify it I'm just saying it isn't going to happen.
Two face didn't die you guys, he got away at the end. They had a funeral for Harvey Dent so that people would think he's dead instead of becoming a super villain, the funeral was more for the idea of harvey dent's purity being buried.

I was going to say "This is what I thought happened" but I didn't even remember the funeral so I guess I can't say that.

No. He died. They might fuck with what happened, but he died. You don't survive a fall like that on your back.
