Has anyone ever say that Octopuses could be smart? I mean, I know they aren't dumb.. but everyone flips out when a dolphin or monkey does something smart.. are they ranked up there too or is Paul just a special case?

Or the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was right, and rats were the most intelligent creatures on Earth, followed by dolphins. That's a much more likely explanation.
