Well. If Trump has won; unemployment is going to go way up right?
If they actually try to do the economic plans that he campaigned on, it's going to be kind of shitty.
Moving to Mars with my waifu, Elon.
Everyone who voted for Trump get exactly what they deserve
Republicans likely will control all three branches of government tonight. Thanks for fucking your voting base and discouraging turnout, DNC.
Remember everytime I use to post about how nate silver was wrong or not absolute in predictions and everyone said that wasn't true he is always right?
HAHAHAHAHHA
CLINTON GOT ALASKA
So when does Trump press that cartoon big red nuke button sitting in the middle of the President's desk?
No silly that's in the secret bunker under the white house.

Sick motherfuckers are probably going to cause an unnecessary bloodshed.
Would someone mind explaining why this wouldn't be the case?
Because it would make incoming goods more expensive, in theory this means people will buy more locally but historically protectionism isn't nearly as cut and dry perfect as some people are acting like it is.

who would have expected BLM to be upset an anti-poc candidate was elected
Honestly the Democrats should have a hard time fucking things up this hard in 2020 - there's such a good field of candidates they have available. Sanders (despite his age), Biden, Warren, Gabbard, Booker, Klobuchar - there's plenty of people I would comfortably vote for.
Nominating Hillary was an enormous fuckup on the DNC's part. We would be looking at a very different map. Instead of electing an FDR to fix our Great Depression level of socioeconomic inequality, we elected Trump. Instead of working to guarantee social rights to people to alleviate economic problems, we're doing the opposite, and tossing the inevitable restriction and outright removal of certain civil and political rights on top of that.
Really not sure what this country will look like after 4 years of a Trump presidency. God fucking forbid we handle 8.
Sanders and Biden will be too old. Sanders got his movement going, and Biden will be too old/lack the emotional energy. Warren won't be looked fondly on by either side by holding out on her endorsement for so long.
Gabbard or Booker are more likely.

Um, he was far closer to the mark than almost everywhere else
Most places were predicting much wider margins for Hillary and gave him shit for it

You may have won the election, but you have lost the automerge.

I mean, was it though? She had the most votes, even before super-delegates. Should the DNC have told Democrats to go fuck themselves and gone with Sanders to win it for the party?
It'd be a popular move on FP and I can see the positives in a utilitarian perspective but that would burn a lot of bridges in the party, especially the old breed.

Literally no one takes 538 as gospel. No one. You're misusing 538 if you're taking it like you are.

A meme president, which is exactly what I wanted.
Can I toxx that the democrates will win 2020 or ban me.
Watch an assassination attempt occur during Trump's inauguration.

Wow and here I was thinking all those "when hillary wins, watch all the republicans grab their guns and run into the woods thinking it's the end of the world lol losers!" posts were completely ridiculous
Guess they were more grounded in reality than I thought
Hopefully this will mean that when America gets its first female president, it'll be somebody a little more worthy of the honor than Clinton.
I'm rooting for Tulsi Gabbard 2020 - she's young, but she has both political experience in state congress, local city council, and the US House, she's a veteran, and she's got the Bernie voter base largely on board.
I'd be happy for Amy Klobuchar, too - shoutout to MN. Would much prefer Gabbard, though.
This whole damn forum needs to calm the f down. Y'all acting like January 21st he'll just nuke the world for the hell of it. I remember my conservative family and friends thinking the same doomsday bullshit in 2008 when Obama won. You know what happened? Fuck all.
Don't worry guys, if this timeline keeps at it with surreal events then we will have President Kayne save us in 2020.
Fantastic. My first four years of adulthood are going to be under this asshole's breath. I can't wait to struggle finding a job and have an even harder time with financial troubles for schooling.
Thanks guys.

The voting base chose Clinton holy shit.
I had $30 to waste so I dropped it on Clinton, $300 return if she wins. Obviously that $30 has gone to waste for real
NH just flipped to Clinton by ~4000 votes.
