Those people who were planning on meeting up in front of Trump Tower and point and laugh at him must be on their way to the biggest hangover in the world right now. As does /r/the_meltdown. It is almost poetic to see them paying the price for their arrogance. Don't deal out punches when you can't take em, folks.
Puttin this on the wall next to Pretiacruento's post earlier. Trump supporters are the gift that keeps on giving.
I don't generally wish ill will upon anyone, in fact I don't think I ever have. Because I'm above that usually. But I hope each and every single Trump voter feels the repurcussions and consequences of a Trump presidency and they suffer the most from it so they can see what they voted for was a lie.
ok
Eager to see the rest of the worlds reaction.
The derision we deserve, hopefully.
what site is this from?
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2016/nov/08/us-election-2016-results-live-clinton-trump?view=map&type=presidential
I'm flying into america tomorrow, should be interesting coming into the aftermath.
Pretty uh... Spot on analysis there Guardian.
im so excited for daddy trump to be president. MEMES CAN BECOME REALITY.
Polls were wrong about Brexit, wrong about Trump. Are people just going to ignore polls from now on?
I don't know if the polls really were wrong about Trump, except HuffPost. Just because he wasn't the favorite, doesn't mean the polls were wrong. He had a low chance of winning if he got the turnout he needed, and he did. I'd say they were pretty hilariously wrong in the primaries, though.
Look at the bright side: The next 4 years will be filled with Onion-tier comedy
Make america entertaining again! [sp]I will be honest though, he has made this election entertaining[/sp]
CNN calls Alaska... https://twitter.com/CNNPolitics?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
If this election taught us anything, it's that exit polls are pure bullshit.
Look at the bright side: The next 4 years will be filled with Onion-tier comedy
Here's to hoping more shit like Brexit and Trump wont happen
Welp good job fellow Americans, ya blew it. In your attempt to lash out against the status quo you have elected a man and a cabinet that personifies that very thing. I hope you're happy, because you won't be soon. You've elected someone who promised to put you first when in reality all he'll put first is himself. Gonna work on that Otamatone.
imagine if at clinton HQ they all start chanting bernie
They should do that, it is unacceptable how the DNC openly worked against Sanders. They are paying the price for that today. They might as well rub it in at this point.
Look at the bright side: The next 4 years will be filled with Onion-tier comedy
First executive action: 2016 is continued for the next 4 years.
Well I guess /pol/ rules the world now.
Look at the bright side: The next 4 years will be filled with Onion-tier comedy
Onion writers will either be out of the job, or worse yet, focus on writing factual descriptions of news events. Either way, God help us all.
I wish John could make a serious self aware reply But cults really are that powerful
If I'm Hilary I'll hang myself Lose to obama and then lose to trump
America, what the absolute flying fuck did you do?
Tonight has been a massive relief to me, just knowing that the rest of this country isn't as stupid as the majority of Sensationalist Headlines.
You're right. Apparently they're much more stupid.
Well looks like that's it. I just watched this country collectively shoot itself in the foot for the past 5 hours. What an utter fucking disappointment. Trump winning this election is a travesty to the beliefs this country runs on. For at least tonight, I am ashamed to call myself an American knowing that nearly half the country voted for this racist lunatic. I'm in no position to take this shit in right now, I'm going to get some sleep.
This is what happens when you give the toxic part of your party too loud of a voice and alienate so many independent voters. They should have had a wonderful night but you forgot that demonizing white dudes for the last 4 years so heavily is like biting the hand that feeds you in key states. Doesn't help when you over analyze every piece of medium to ensure it fits your unrealistic world views of political correctness. Now we have to suffer with a GOP ran House, Senate, Presidency, and a right leaning Supreme Court. Congratulations once again, we saw solid blue counties go red. Don't blame Trump voters that are here to troll you, instead look at all the infighting and drama in the last 4 years within the DNC ranks.
Hear a whole bunch of sirens near my area on campus, I'm sure it's no coincidence. Dunno if I wanna go near my campus' center tomorrow.
Shitposting and flaming aside, fucking carry out my toxx already mods.
With all the accusations of Russia being involved in the email leaks and interfering with the election, what're the chances the DNC will accuse them of tampering with the votes tomorrow? [editline]a[/editline] What're the chances they actually did? :v:
As crazy as this past week has been alone, never mind the past year's worth of campaigning, I wouldn't be surprised if at least 1 voting scandal is conjured up.
Tonight has been a massive relief to me, just knowing that the rest of this country isn't as stupid as the majority of Sensationalist Headlines.
Can any of you actually articulate what makes Trump a good fit for presidency? Anyone? Is it his denial of science, or his failed understanding of economics?
