it is a game, a really really funny one.
No it isn't, he's the president of a powerful country, it's not a game.
oh god most of you are literally delusional, how could you have been so wrong

Cool man glad this was a game to you.
It wasn't, just icing on the cake; or well..... salt rub to the steak I am getting this friday.
Nah dude you are just freaking out because you let the media put all those scary ideas into your head. Relax, if this was a power struggle in russia or some dictatorship ill be scared but trump isnt some untouchable hitler.
You guys seem to not even know how being president work. Just mimicing the same fear mongering bullshit they hear.
You're a sociopath. Seek therapy.
So what color do you guys think will THE WALL™ be?
I am thinking Black wall with gold "T"s all over it. [sp]and mines on the perimeter[/sp]
No, seriously. Is Congress/Trump going to push for PATRIOT act 2.0 or what?
We already know the dream is dead, but the future is more important than just dwelling on the present
We won't know until he finally decides to take some kind of action.
You're such a terrible sport when you've won, I'd hate to see you if he had lost.
As if facepunch havent been circlejerking for months on how they are going to laugh at salty trump supporters.
hey cool you guys your president just said "this political stuff is tough"
have a nice 4 years
Obama says it after 8 years.
it is a game, a really really funny one.
didn't people just call you out for your lack of empathy and you offered a long "I GUESS" apology asking people to forgive you because you have a medical condition?
do you also have short term memory loss?
It wasn't, just icing on the cake; or well..... salt rub to the steak I am getting this friday.
i dont know if you're more proud of trump winning or the fact you've made a dinner reservation
Okay he is president now, but how many radical changes will actually happen? He promised like 80 things
I dont think his voters care. His smarter voters are now drawing up plans to get him out of office or make his life in office hellish.
You're a sociopath. Seek therapy.
yes he's a sociopath because he expects an adult to act like an adult.
introduction of senate/high goverment term limits
not happening, there is zero incentive for Trump to suggest this and much less than zero incentive for Congress to approve a bill.
rebuilding of crumbling infrastructure
How?
rebuilding the manfuacturing base which was always america's economic engine
Until it wasn't, which is why this isn't happening. Service is America's economic engine.
counteracting corruption in goverment
By electing a literal agent of corruption who's advisor brought us the Citizens United ruling.
ending of frivolious wars that only serve the elite etc
More pro-war than Clinton.
As Nigel Farage would say, "Funny isn't it?"
didn't people just call you out for your lack of empathy and you offered a long winded apology and practically everyone forgive you because you have a medical condition?
do you also have short term memory loss?
i never said to forgive me anywhere in the post, I said i admit to have problems feeling a lil empathy on most stuff. that's it.
Obama says it after 8 years.
theres a difference between saying after 8 hellish years of resolving some of the toughest problems our country has faced in the past 20 years through the least cooperative congress and complete gridlock
trump is saying before he even gets started
We elected a fool for president!
Maybe you can actually try and do something by running for president next term instead of sitting on your butt making 9 posts a day
Yeah, which is why I am confused on the WW3 prospect.
Why the fuck would someone who is supposedly putins awesome best friend forever go to war?
It's a fucking good thing to be friends with Russia.
If Putin uses Trump's abandonment of NATO as an excuse to reinvigorate Russian territorial imperialism, it won't be war for us but it'll be major major conflict in Eastern Europe.
Also, high tariffs on imports from China will ruin what little bit of a relationship we have. China's sphere of influence over the Pacific will grow massively when tariffs prevent SEA from importing to the US economically. War is very very unlikely, but tensions will skyrocket between the US and China. Like, cold-war level tensions.
WW3 predictions are overblown, obviously, but many of Trump's policies and words will make foreign policy exceedingly difficult and will flare up tensions with pretty much the rest of the entire world.
International relations will be fucked, the global economy will be fucked, a lot of things will be fucked. But war is still unlikely. Unfortunately, one major theory as to why total war has decreased in the modern era has to do with global economics - in countries where international corporations have investments and capital, war is horrible for business. As an example, until Iraq, not a single country with a McDonald's had ever gone to war with each other. Trump's protectionism eliminates that economic interconnection, increasing the risk that countries will go to war. If Chinese companies aren't incentivized to participate in the US economy because of high tariffs, and American companies are unable to easily import Chinese products or export labor, neither country has an economic connection with the other and warfare between the two won't interrupt economics and could actually foster local economic growth (see military-industrial complex).
Globalization actively causes peace. Protectionism could potentially make warfare more likely by severing major economic ties between states and removing the disincentive for states to fight each other.

Lmao im a sociopath? I DIDNT EVEN VOTE TRUMP.
You guys are pathetic crybabies. You should blame the democrat party for trying to force in such a shitty canditate. How the hell can you fuck up so bad to Trump.
But yeah keep crying over the fact that some fairly got elected. Go write a blog about how the impending civil war is going to happen while everybody else carry on their lives.
yes he's a sociopath because he expects an adult to act like an adult.
No, because he lacks empathy for someone who is driven to suicidal depression by circumstance.
Case in point, you have to massively downplay the situation in order to argue it.
As Nigel Farage would say, "Funny isn't it?"
GOOD MORNING
make the recession great again
I wonder how these forums will look after the Trumpocalypse.
As far as I can see, both sides and even mostly neutral people are getting permad for at least some time.

There are a lot of people with good reasons to be afraid. I would say anyone who's non-straight or non-white have a good reason to be afraid.

Not funny, more poetic. Like linking one terrible decision to another.
hey cool you guys your president just said "this political stuff is tough"

I'm hoping for an early impeachment.

wow that's a really tough circumstance having to see a meme being a president.

Lots have easy get-out-of-my-perma bits to their toxx clauses.
And I'll still be here every now and then trying to reason with a bunch of fanatical cult-of-personality memesters.
