No, seriously. Is Congress/Trump going to push for PATRIOT act 2.0 or what?
We already know the dream is dead, but knowing/predicting the future is more important than just dwelling on the present
Why do people thinks the republicans are the only ones that does this?
The last time Ive check Obama was A-okay with the NSA spying leaks and even EXTENDED the bullshit laws that gotten wrote in after 9/11.
Not to mention the last like 5 presidents acted like the consititution is something they had to overcome instead of adbide to just to push their shit agendas that was made to serve their wall street friends.
Atleast now it will be obvious
Well SH been fun to see all your faces proved wrong one last time. Thanks for the salt, never think I'll need any for my celebration dinner coming up friday
Can I just ask that you not be a cunt about it? Congrats, your manbaby piece of shit got elected. You can jack yourself off without rubbing it in everyone's faces.
What were we proven wrong on?
People don't want trump, trump will never win, trump is a joke canidate. Seriously all the things are in SH it's just too many topics to post about this election process.
Only a hours ago did people on here talk about harvesting us few Trump supporter tears.
Christmas came early for us.
Because I believe in most cases, Logic > Emotional Reasoning.
Ah. Logic is it? Where's the logic in this post?
it is a game, a really really funny one.
("it" referring to the presidential election)
Maybe I am just blind, but I see it as purely emotional.
Frankly, you are delusional if you don't assign a solid portion of blame to the democratic party that was willing to sideline the candidate that would have crushed trump. Axing Bernie has blown up in the faces of the democratic party. This attitude of refusing to accept what has been wrong with the left of politics is exactly why nationalistic nuts are gaining power throughout Europe, and why we are on the precipice of electing one to the highest office of the most powerful nation on Earth.
fakeedit: You know what fuck it. I don't even care if I get banned for this. It needs to be said.
Any of you Europeans waking up today and reading this, step the fuck back and think about what is happening. You have let leftist politics continue unchecked for decades, and now people will turn to powers that they despise because those are the only forces that make them feel like they are listened to. If you don't start listening to those people now and bringing about real change within your liberal parties, you too will get to enjoy the ruining of your nations.
If you want this to ever change, everyone one of you ass ignorant mother fuckers saying "pick the lesser of the evils" needs to wake the fuck up and start fixing shit on your side of the fence, because this is the result that happens when you don't. I have been saying this for years. The western world has stood by and allowed repressive left policies to undermine the foundations of governance and equality. Brexit and the refugee crisis are only the beginning. It's time for some introspection upon your own failings and biases.
You cannot win with mediocrity and censorship forever. People will not accept your regressive authoritarian shit indefinitely. Everyone has a breaking point, and America has clearly shown where the outer limits of its own tolerances lie. Look to your own countrymen and carefully consider where their own limits stand.
Ask yourself. What will happen in your country should you fail to dismantle the authoritarian left? Cast your eyes upon the abyss that America is teetering above and truly contemplate what will happen should you fail, because this pit of madness is the future that awaits you if you do.
I don't want to detract from this post, but I do want to add something, for those of you itching to blame us independent and third party voters:
Nope, get the fuck out of here with that, throw it in the trash. You don't get to claim 3rd party votes ruined your chances, you people gave Trump this election by fucking over Bernie and then handwaving criticism away from your precious Hillary. You people did this. Every single one of you who argued with independents and third party voters about how Hillary "wasn't that bad" between calling us Trumpets and conservative nutjobs. (I fucking laughed when Jill Stein got lumped in with the alt-right by some Hillarite) You all have a share in the blame because if most of you out there, nationwide, turned around and held the DNC to task we might very well have had Bernie.
Here let me hammer that point home:
When DONALD MOTHERFUCKING TRUMP is seen as the "honest one" compared to your candidate you have severely fucked up.
Accusing us of spoiling this election is another dismissal of your own party's long list of failures. Those of us who leaned right weren't going to vote for Hillary under any circumstances, we might have crossed lines for Bernie and indeed I personally did just that. Allegations about voter fraud, the email scandal, Benghazi, Hillary's extremely concerning ties to the very people she claims to fight on behalf of everyone, these are things you passed off as non-issues or fabrications by Republicans and insulted anyone who didn't immediately agree.
Did you forget who the fuck you were talking to? You're supposed to be winning us over. We're not the other side, we're not /pol/ shitposters, we're voters in the middle of the two party dichotomy that you're supposed to be enticing to slip over to your side. Treating us with contempt is not how you fucking do that, I know one Johnson supporter on here who switched to Trump because of Isak's and Raidyr's bullshit. All of you Democrats should be fucking ashamed of yourselves, and those of you who didn't participate in this juvenile shit-slinging should be too because at any point you could have said, "hey, chill the fuck out." Those rare unicorns who did? I'm sorry you're surrounded by vile, petulant zealots. I really am.
wow that's a really tough circumstance having to see a meme being a president.
And you know, him being president comes with his changes right? Like it's not just "Trump is president and that's all folks." He has policies that are harmful to some people, like the friends dustyjo is talking about. Do you not understand that maybe this is why people are feeling awful about things? Not that he became president but what he'll do as president?
lets get these toxx bans filed faster
Clinton fairly got elected in the primary, though. She had 3,800,000 more votes than Sanders did.
I'm not whining about anything. Disappointed? Absolutely. Would I spit in the face of Trump supporters if Clinton had won? I hope not - I'd be more relieved than happy anyways, because Clinton wasn't my ideal candidate.
Yeah I'd be asleep by now but I'm kinda just in awe at the kinda shit that's turned up. it's like the sjws were right all along and this country is actually deeply sick. I actually feel bad for those two times I flamed zeke over those kinds of issues when he still posted here.
LMAO at all the people saying they weren't proven wrong. This subforum and forum in general has been so far left in the past election you just need to look at SH to see how wrong you all were. Face it America is tired of the dividing that has come under Obama, the higher taxes, healthcare and issues of terrorism and civil unrest.
I'm surprised you all don't go outside and could have seen how much support trump had coming from him from the working class and people tired of obummer.
Hi. I was proven wrong. I expected Clinton to win narrowly, and losing PA blindsided me.
I underestimated Trump's public appeal. Again. And now I'm in this thread talking about the potential issues that Trump's spoken policies could cause on both a personal and global scale and you're just threadshitting and gloating. Good job. You cast a ballot.
It's fucked. This country will not improve.
It's just going to get worse.
Maybe if we're lucky, Trump might get impeachment.
But that's doesn't sound too likely given of the astonishing amount of support he gain despite his nefarious actions.

but its fun to rub it in everyone's faces, if clinton won I would expect the same shit to happen, and I would accept it because I am an adult and this is a Democracy.
That being said.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHA TRUMP FUCKING WON, MAGA.

Then why did this happen in the US and not in Europe? And I always find it ironic when people say "the left" should listen to "these people" because they don't feel they're represented - well fuck me, I thought we lived in a democracy where we kinda voted on things and then compromised. "The left" hasn't done anything but vote for people they wanted in government, same shit as the right. The US is fucked up partly because of your insane bipartisanship - Obama is literally talked about as an antichrist, not a president that happen to be from a different party.
And has the left really been the ones drawing themselves in? The Republican party decided back in '08 that the course of action must be to ensure that Obama gets nothing through. They've held onto that line, and at the same time empowered the people on their extreme right. They let Trump become the answer to all their issues - if Obama is the antichrist why vote for Jeb Bush?
If you want this to ever change, everyone one of you ass ignorant mother fuckers saying "pick the lesser of the evils" needs to wake the fuck up and start fixing shit on your side of the fence, because this is the result that happens when you don't. I didn't elect Hillary Clinton, I've been criticising the US's way of electing people for the years I've been aware of the problem - but what are you actually talking about? What are we "Europeans" supposed to "fix" specifically? Was it a problem that gays were allowed to marry? Are we too harsh when it comes to combating climate change?
You cannot win with mediocrity and censorship forever. People will not accept your regressive authoritarian shit indefinitely. Censorship? "The regressive left" - at least what I think of as the regressive left - is a phenomenon that started in the US. I don't think it has any place here in Denmark, but it isn't nearly as prevalent as it is in the US. So I'm not sure what I'm supposed to dismantle.
Ask yourself. What will happen in your country should you fail to dismantle the authoritarian left? Yeah I'll dismantle the authoritarian left... oh wait, it seems that it isn't in our parliament.
How about the right tries to dismantle its extreme right wing instead of talking about how the left is a big bully (even when they're not in charge apparently)? This is the equivalent of you knocking a bowl onto the floor and then say "Look what you made me do!".
Edit: You're basically telling the left to fix the regressive left because the right just elected someone from the regressive right. It's perfectly backwards.
You're a sociopath. Seek therapy.
Not for gay people tho they got kinda fucked on this one.
Case in point, you have to massively downplay the situation in order to argue it.
And you are failing to engage in any semblance of rational discussion, instead resorting to random personal attacks and dismissive behavior (quite ironic really). Exactly the sort of actions that have driven people to support trump in the first place.
Congratulations. Your mentality among the left is why the election went the way that it did.
Sanders got the election jacked from him it wasn't fair.
And if you have concrete evidence to back up that the election was genuinely rigged, I'd believe you. I haven't seen any, and I try to stay reasonable and consider the evidence available before jumping to "BUT IT'S RIGGED" conclusions like a certain president-elect.
People, people! Let's calm our heads down now! The race is over, and Donald Trumps has given his victory speech. Trump has said that to those who did not choose to support him, he still needs your guidance. So do not belittle him and his time as president with complaints. Help him, and help yourself, by speaking out your opinions. It is your freedom of speech, and it is your right to petition.
Could have sworn he said he would be going after the first amendment and press rights within his first few months in office.
