Well, uh, the rest of the world will follow. Except China - they'll come out on top in all of this by using Trump's tariffs to cannibalize American-owned factories and production facilities in southeast Asia, massively increasing their sphere of influence and giving them the opportunity to export labor for cheap goods.
There's been a global market shock - Japan's equivalent of the Dow Jones dropped 5% and limited trading, Dow Jones did the same. Economically, if Trump follows through with his stated plans, the global market will be severely crippled.
Mostly worried for the EU now. After both this and Brexit, I could easily see the EU collapsing. With Trump turning a blind eye to Putin and slowly dismantling NATO, we'll basically be back at where we were before WW2, except with China as the eastern superpower instead of Japan and a Europe without a proper military arsenal to compete with Russia.
I know the world will follow the US, but what can we do as non US-individuals other than slowly watch the US go crumbling down should things go south. I know my country have pretty much trying to better their ties with china for some time.
I didn't attack independents you misguided asshole. I defended people's right to not vote for Hillary or Trump, so go away with your alleged bed.
Oh my bad, I got your avatar mixed up with somebody else. Sorry about that. Still, I caught a lot of fucking flack for defending Trump supporters when the bandwagon rolled over them and I was quick to correct those same people when they ventured into the realm of citing infowars shit and presenting it as fact. If you did the same, cool, more power to you and I commend you for keeping things honest.
A lot of other people didn't though, and if it makes you feel better I'm referring more to them than to you specifically.
No you were right. It is the dnc fault for pushing a shitty candidates. Want better luck? Start holding the corrupt fucks up on your side to task.
The corrupt fucks in this case being my friends, family, and coworkers who put down Clinton.
I should probably go to sleep, but for some reason, I really don't feel like sleeping because we have President Trump coming 2017.
On the bright side, who's ready for some Celebrity Apprentice: White House edition?!
I feel incredibly smug right now.
Congratulations to Trump.
Im sad people toxxd. Why did people toxx
They gotten cocky and arrogant, believed that anybody against clinton is some racist redneck trying to install some sort of cis dictatorship on america.
How come Smurfy isn't toxx'd?
just a little reminder that tonight, america, your president-elect said in his victory speech: "this political stuff is tough"
All those SH where "no my corrupt puppet canditate is better than your racist puppet canditate".
Nobody had a real reason to vote for clinton other than they dont want trump to be president so you guys tolerated her bullshit. She even cheated in the debates and the DNC.
You'd think this was true due to how much character has been debated, but in actuality I think most people who "supported" Clinton actually liked many or at least a substantial part of her policies. LGBT rights, not denying that climate change is a thing, expanding and improving Obamacare, making it cheaper and easier to go to college etc. They actually made sense, even if they're still pretty "right wing" compared to my stances.
And you just can't look at Clinton in isolation. Trump talking about grabbing pussy wasn't the problem (though it didn't make things better) - building a wall, banning Muslims, doing major tax cuts, throwing out Obamacare and leave millions of Americans uninsured, going back on LGBT rights, take no action (and probably even harmful action) with regards to global warming. That's what people were actually voting against.

No. You made a speech saying the same thing. I am summarizing your post. Either put forth better candidates or expect more Trumps.
We the world can't afford more trumps, now can we?

I hope he makes a mockery out of the institution.

Was going to be an original memer and google the theme but I think I found a better song that's more fitting.

Why can't you guys at least concede you have intentionally acted against the interests of the LGBT community? You have for all intents and purposes harmed them when the gay marriage is federally over turned.
What's to enjoy about that?

I've been spending the last four hours helping my LGBT friends make plans to move to a less dispeciable country. The USA will be all the poorer for it.
I doubt I'm going to go to work tomorrow. I need to plan for a future elsewhere because it certainly isn't here.
Just like how we gotten univerisal healthcare under obama right?
You mean the healthcare that Obama proposed and the Republicans gutted? Unlike Obama, Trump isn't exactly having to work with a congress vehemently opposed to literally every step he takes.
You betcha!
It's just endlessly ironic to me that a pro trump anti PC person is so ready to just purge all those who don't parrot him
Like I honestly dont get it
How can you support someone that denies climate change and will be negative for LGBT people
That should be enough to never support that candidate, I dont understand

I think it was more the polling showing how little of a chance Trump had aswell as him constantly saying something dumb and controversial
I was about to do it myself but I've already been permad twice for dumb shit, didn't feel like risking it
As a Pennsylvania progressive, I'd just like to apologize on the behalf of my state.

Yeah let me know when you guys are forced to wear LGBT symbols on your clothes and get sent to concentration camps.

I don't have sympathy for dustyjo's friends at all, but I do have sympathy for dustyjo who's emotionally attached to them and thus is subject to their shit no matter what. He said that federal gay marriage being overturned was a part of the trump pence platform, nothing about camps...
As for the specifics of how hard that is, I don't know, but with republican control of the house and Senate, plus a new supreme court nominee, well... It's probably not as hard as you'd make it out to be.

The other option literally gotten away with an crime she intentionally commited and tried to hide. She then used her status to get away with it.
That screamed dictator to alot of people go figure. The obvious attempts by the media to shove her down our throats were also a factor.
Dont get how people are so shock with 2 horrible canditates we were given.

Are you talking about Trump supporters in general when you say "you guys", or the specific few that you've encountered?
I'm not against the interest of the LGBT community. My girlfriend is part of the LGBT community, and I myself am a supporter for it.

Lol, I know you're making an extreme example but seriously you don't have to go as far as the third reich to cause harm to a minority

Hillary was against gay marriage until she found out it was popular.
Food for thought.
