You said you were disappointed in your fellow Democrats precisely for the reason why most of those states are red. So which is it, every red state is a frothing cesspit of bigotry or people just really didn't want Hillary in office? I smell hypocrisy.
You know i genuinely respect your posts and often times i find myself agreeing with you and even supporting you in arguments. But the fact of the matter is that the republican party won with an LGBT stance and so long as thats the case I will consider them a threat to my rights. As for the hypocrisy i called the democrats out on not trying to understand the srance trump supporters have and try to level with them and try to help them change their stance. Those states are red because they're both rural and a haven for the right. Not because of the failings of the democratic party.
This thread and the argument we're having right now is indicative of the current state of the world right now.
A bunch of people yelling incoherently about "the system" and how they're "winning" against their invisible enemies and spouting memes and bullshit and another bunch of people desperately trying to bring them back to reality and failing.
There's no evidence against her, they decided not to indict her.
I don't know what you mean by 'non-binding' but they decided there's no reason to go to trial because there's no evidence of wrong doing. I'm telling you this based on what's in the actual report from the FBI director. Would you like me to link it to you?
Link or quote the part that said no evidence of having her government email on a privatevserver. Or no mails being deleted after the sup, Since both are illegal. Should be a cake walk.
Also its non binding since its an advice, the fbi could have said hillary is the devil period and thats still not a guarantee she will see a day of trial since its up to the s justice dept to make that call.
Man what a ride this election has been (and this thread), not anything new or so but I just wanted to say it like the 1000 people before me has. As a non US-citizen though, my word might have less meaning but I'm still looking forward what Trump aims to do from an economic standpoint, or well. The one that will affect the globe. As for taking a side, I guess I was on Bearnie's side before he got out of the race, mostly due to he somehow reminded me of a swedish politician on weed. Not that I smoke it or anything, but his RADical ideals was a lot more amusing/less depressing than both Hillary and Trump's.
Though, this blasting of people and calling them socipaths have struck me closer than I thought since I was, and are laughing at the losing side (and all the toxxes) and having a lot of fun on an extremely slow and boring work day. I'd do the same if Trump lost, hell I'd even say it would be more hilarious but no game. Since this election proves; Memes can make you into a president.

The Republicans didn't win just because the democratic party failed (which they did), they also won because most of the voting public support their platform. We know this, suggesting otherwise is absurd.
Trump will throw the world into another great depression. Every. Single. Economist. Thinks hes bad news

We've had this conversation before, there needs to be some kind of deliberate intent to be found guilty of committing a crime in a court of law. It's called "mens rea" and it's part of the main basis of common law and the system of law founded by the US constitution.
I'll link you the thread where we discussed this before:

That's why I want to know, will he fuck it up as predictions or will he not fuck up. I'm obviously leading towards that he will fuck up, but I have enough faith in humanity that his economic advisor(s) will not allow him to do everything he pleases, not that he can "rule" with an iron-first since the senate and all but you get what I mean.

Yes you're totally right. The media and everyone who has ever disagreed with you online has been shilling all election as a part of the clintosphere. You got em good with that one. You are super intelligent and better than those damn liberals and everyone loves you.

No I just really REALLY hate hillary.
Also i never even supported him. You guys seem to use trump supporter as a label whenever somebody dont vote for your loser canditate.
considering his party controls the senate, then yes, he can essentially
Good point, I'm not that well-versed but I guess it's basically political suicide to go against your own party, if you think the policy they proposed are that stupid? (extremely stupid question in hindsight of writing it, but eh fuck it).
No I just really REALLY hate hillary.
Nobody knows my sexual preferences because it's none of their motherfucking business, so it doesn't matter what I answer. I am openly heathen though, so if your point was "do you even know discrimination?????" then yes, I do.
Okay so that's one difference. I didn't come out as gay when I was younger. At age 14 I talked to my school counselor in what I thought was discrete confidence and he let it leak to the rest of the school.
I wasn't even sure, and I immediately started trying to convince people that I wasn't gay, but the damage was already done. I spent most of my late teens and early adulthood actively fighting against my homosexuality because of the bullying and ostracizing I received because of this one fucking asshole who cared too much about a 14-year-old being gay.
A select few people are convinced I fuck dogs in rituals dedicated to Satan, not even exaggerating. Most people avoid the hell out of me just because. If we're to believe the rhetoric that gay marriage is a slippery slope into sinful depravity, I'm on an entirely different level of ostracized.
Holy shit I would have loved if people had just avoided me. Try being shoved down a flight of fucking concrete stairs and breaking a few bones, then having administration turn on you because the Dean is a gay-bashing Church-group member in his free time. Most of the time, I'd be beaten to a fucking pulp and I'd be the one in trouble because *reasons lol zero-tolerance-policy*.
Try being too afraid to tell your parents why you're getting beat up so often and why you're constantly in trouble for shit because your dad's furiously anti-gay.
I've had to force relationships with girls despite how fucking uncomfortable it is for me just to appear normal in a community that actively condemns what sex you want to fuck.
You know how I cope? I literally do not give a flying fuck what anyone thinks of me. I do whatever the hell I want. Why? This is America. I know my rights, I know the law, and I'm armed. Stop taking everything so personally, get a CCW license, don't let people intimidate you.
I'm so glad that works for you. It's hard not to give a shit when three guys are kicking your face all over the pavement.
Excuse me for not wanting to live in a country where I have to carry a deadly weapon 100% of the time to marginally improve my sense of personal safety from what is now institutionalized discrimination.
Am I the only one the feels that if the GOP tried to repeal much of the progress done with LGBT rights they would end up paying in 2020 elections? Right now I don't see them doing much as it would really hurt them later down the road and let the Dems take control. It really is a shame that with one setback people are acting like its the end of the world and wanting to leave the US which I honestly see as the "quitters" route. Change sometimes doesn't happen quickly, and compared to many other major things, LGBT rights have come a long way very quickly and I don't see if losing steam, espically if the GOP tries to fight it more. Remember guys, there is a reason we get for vote every 4 years.

"Fear mongering bullshit you heard on CNN." AKA the wide-scale consensus formed by reputable economists

You seem to be putting a whole lot of things in my mouth I havent said. Is that your pathetic attempt to win an argument? Write out an fake version of my own and satire it so you can feel good when you point out dumbed shit YOU wrote down?
Your canditate lost already, sorry buddy but the democrats shouldve picked literally anybody else other than hillary.
-snip-
bro at this point you're making a philosophical argument about no one being in control of themselves. are you saying that every single aspect of empirical, objective or subjective evidence for and against a candidate is either controlled or directly produced by an entity seeking to control your opinions?
or do you think that possibly people are able to see context in things and make up their own mind to a certain point, using differing viewpoints and pieces of evidence. you're literally talking about a 'shillosphere' and saying 'that's what people call', where did you get those ideas from? are you not living in your own shillosphere? some sort of magasphere??
you seriously can't understand the possible thought process it would take a person to see that bernie's platform and hillary's platform had some things in common to the point where they were preferable to trump? i don't trust you bro.. i think you're getting paid by the future president of the united states to spread fascism across the earth... seems dodgy to me.
Im saying if you control the flow of data you can make it appear people like you when they dont... People did not like hillary yet hillary controlled the data.
In a simplified system, yes, you can control peoples minds by only feeding them data that will lead to them making the choices you want them to make.
Sadly for hillary in the real world that works for most people some of the time and for some people some of the time.
Imo the people had to pick between 2 bad options, and they made a clear choice for nonconformism. Lets just hope next time the parties dont give us a shit candidate.
The democrats reaped what they have sown... At this point i feel its undeniable bernie would have been a better candidate...
What a day to wake up to, I was going to say this whatever the results were, and sorry to say US guys, sucks to be you.
Man who doesnt support either candidate continues to support trump
Im supporting trump by saying both canditates are garbage and pointing out how the trump victory could have avoided entirely.

Oh gee look at that.
Yeah I fucking wish harsh criticism was the worst me, my friends, and the rest of the LGBT community had to worry about.
So start winning people over by being better than those that hate you.
I'll gladly vote for truly equal legislation that supports rights, be it LGBT or any other minority group, but if you or anyone in your community think I'm going to tolerate you treating me like shit while demanding my support, you can get fucked for all I care. I have no problems sitting on the sideline while the people in your community continue throwing temper tantrums and giving a majority that I'm a part of more ammunition to hate them. Those temper tantrums just placed Trump in the Oval Office.
You want my support? Great. You can have it. But only on my terms. My terms are that you as a community nut up and start acting like decent human beings with at least some semblance of rational thought. I don't think that's a lot to ask for. Start engaging in rational discourse and stow the 'us vs them' mentality. I'm done trying to extend the olive branches only to receive ash in return. You can come to us, or not. I don't care anymore. It's in your hands. I as the majority don't need you. You need me. That isn't pleasant to hear, but it's the truth. I as a straight white male am not going to suffer overly much regardless of how you are treated. Acting like entitled children while throwing around insults and making ludicrous mental assessments will not help you. The things that have been done to you and your community are truly abhorrent, and utterly indefensible, but you will never get anywhere if you continue to blame me and mine for things that we did not do, and will never support, all the while accusing us of holding beliefs that we outright scorn. You will at best make us apathetic, and at worst make your situation worse by giving us reasons to despise you.
I get it. I really do. You are resentful, angry, hurt, depressed, or any combination of the above. Being rational and objective is hard. It takes conscious effort, even when you aren't suffering. Lashing out like a wounded animal is easy. It feels good to have a source of vindication. It satisfies a primal psychological itch. "They're bad so I can treat them poorly." I don't blame you for wanting to lash out. Nor do I blame you for feeling lost. These are normal reactions, and both the feelings and desires are justifiable at some level, particularly if you've never known anything else. However, until you understand that blindly lashing out only drives your would be supporters away, you will never get anywhere. A rational mind understands this, tries to engage in conversation, and contemplates the implications of actions. A rabid dog bites everything around it and spreads it's madness until it is put down. Until you as a community step forward and stop the mad dogs from speaking for you, this right wing hatred of you will not cease. Those of us who are better educated and members of the majority will continue to stand by because we will not be meaningfully hurt one way or the other, and the less thoughtful of us will embrace the fury your community has shown them, and continue to respond in kind.
So you are looking for something to do? Be a decent human being, and try to inoculate your community against the deranged madness that has consumed it by speaking out. It's not easy, but it really is that simple. Tell the world that you speak for yourself.
Make your choice. Be a decent person in spite of the horrors you have endured and despite the cost to you, lash out and allow yourself to be consumed by them in perpetuity, or suffer in an eternity of agonizing silence.

Here you come rambling about Hillary, and since you are fine with Trump but obviously hate Hillary, it comes off as if Trump were your preference.

Lmfao voting third party is abstraining. Nice.
Fuck off i voted for i believe was better out of the lot i am not going to vote for a political supervillian and an racist out of touch billionaire just so the other dont win.

Where am I putting things in your mouth?
I'm saying you're right, the people who disagree with you are all shills. You got us good. You win the argument. It's clear that you're much smarter than me and I accept that I am completely and utterly personally responsible for a presidential candidate losing in another country who I didn't support.
Did I mention I'm not a democrat? And I don't support Hillary? And I'm not an American, so I couldn't vote even if I wanted to?
What are you even arguing about? What's your point?
