I'm just going to say 'I told you so' when this whole movement just up and dissolves at some point, having accomplished nothing except a bunch of shakycam Youtube videos and hours of filler material on the major news networks. OWS is naive to think that protests are going to suddenly make the greediest people in the world have a How The Grinch Stole Christmas-style epiphany and start thinking about the well being of other people and the world.

Of course only votes change anything and the point of the protests is to keep attention on the matter, and thus changing the minds of the listeners. And in this case "hours of filler material" is exactly what these people want.

What's up with the large amounts of excessive force and brutality towards these protesters, especially the ones that don't resist arrest when they were told they were? It's like these cops hate these protesters with a passion.

I think its time for them to drop the "non" from "Non violent" protests, considering being nice isnt getting the protesters anywhere.

Okay, that makes TOTAL sense. Cooperating and not resisting gives the police officer the right to act hostile towards him? What the fuck? When they sign up to be a cop, go through all that training, testing, ect, I assume they make a promise/pact to only use force when nesaccary. I don't know, just guessing.
