Shitty port, i assume.
I didn't think TLC was a shitty port. I'll assume this one isn't either.
I have never seen GFWL be annoying except when the game is pirated.
I had it delete my saves on Fallout 3 (not just move them to a strange folder but actually delete them, I looked), and on Dirt 2 it made me restart 4 times before I could even play the game. Both were purchased legally.
GFWL is the cancer of pc gaming
What the hell is this fucking shit? Fuck you Molyneux, fuck you GFWL. Theres no way I'm downloading it from GFWL. A retail version or Steam version is demanded and you go the complete opposite..
Might as well just buy the fucking xbox version, Why wait for some shitty service to fuck up the game?
Dumb cosmetic item trades should not get your whole account disabled, losing everything.
But scamming people is wrong. I agree that it shouldn't, but one can't use the defense that they didn't expect it. If you do something wrong, expect consequences.
But yeah, I think it's stupid that they get their whole account disabled. It should just be a Vac ban or something (if even that). The best punishment would be a ban from trading or something after a warning.
lionhead is going to make a big mistake since pirates if they get a ID number stolen or from a friend from any GFML
they can play online
God forbid they use another distribution method than your all powerful all important Steam.
Grow up you probably already have a fucking Live ID.

It'll be better on xbox
It'll be better on xbox
It has. Since last month.
Funny because when you pirate, gfwl is either completely disabled or is "cracked" so it does nothing but save game and all that jizz.
Or, even more hilarious, you can use one key for pretty much all GFWL games.

This. FP's devotion to Steam is almost like that of a cult, it's fucking nuts.
Or, even more hilarious, you can use one key for pretty much all GFWL games.
I had some keys from the old The Club giveaway :v:
Too bad I seem to have lost them somewhere... well, they only worked on few games anyways.
This. FP's devotion to Steam is almost like that of a cult, it's fucking nuts.
I don't like either GFWL nor Steam, but I'd rather go with the one that isn't a broken piece of shit.
The people complaining about GFWL must never have used it, because I've never had problems with it.
In some ways it's better than Steam, for starters, you don't even have to be connected to the internet or logged in to the service just to even install the game (which is a godsend for laptop users or people without internet like me), don't even need an account to play games (you can make a local profile for most games, which gives you almost all the perks of regular account including being able to earn achievements).
Another game ruined by GfWL :sigh:
Personally I don't care if its GFWL or Steam never had a problem with GFWL
I have never seen GFWL be annoying except when the game is pirated.
That's the only time when it's not annoying
[editline]19th November 2010[/editline]
Not that I pirate my games but in my experience games generally run better with a crack.
[editline]19th November 2010[/editline]
games on GFWL anyway.
The old GFWL was shit, but it looks like they're doing a lot to improve the reputation.
It'll be better on xbox
Either way it was short n crappy compared to the previous ones.
Maybe if we all wish hard enough, they'll do away with it!
Just buy it for xbox v:<v
The game is a casual game you sit down and play for about two days. You'll forget it like a day after you beat it, trust me.

I don't have an Xbox. It'll be very silly to get one just for a game.
Just release every game this company made on Steam. Even if it means removing GFWL, Microsoft doesn't need that money, and they already increased the cost of Xbox Live.
If you can't wait for Fable 3, either suck it up and still wait, or get a 360 and rent it(or buy it if you want).
[sp]It is somewhat better or worse than 2, depending on what you think about the removal of the expression wheel/choosing expressions, day 1 DLC, and cut content being released as DLC[/sp]
Fuck GMFL
Fuck GMod For Life? :saddowns:
Well at least they're working on it. Now if only they could work on it a little faster. Somehow I bet this is gonna be the flagship game of a relaunch of GFWL, and will fail abysmally if it's a GFWL download exclusive.
Hopefully Lionhead will release Fable 3 on Steam too.
A PC gamer can dream...
Maybe if we all wish hard enough, they'll do away with it!
I wished too hard and poo came out. Is that bad?
Games for windows live... goddamit.
After buying Fallout 3 on Steam, I fucking hated how GFWL had to connect AFTER the game was fully loaded, adding only additional time before being able to press the damn "Load game" button. And if it couldn't for some reason? "Well, no gaming for you today, buddy"
Piece of crap. Luckily some mods had to be loaded through FOSE, which overrided both steam and GFWL, fuck yeah.
[b]what's so bad about gfwl?
