Why the fuck did you star that shit? You can indeed swear here for fuck sake.
it isn't supposed to cover a 'swear word'.
That's pretty fucked up right there. They could of gotten well within range of helping. And even if the insurgents did somehow manage to hit an Apache with an rpg, aren't Apaches built to withstand a couple of them?
You're the idiot. Who, in the right fucking mind looks at allies die when they have a chance to help them? you're fucking sick.
I like how you play off of facts by responding with emotional BS. I'm not even saying that I think the guys were right dumbshit. I'm saying that the current story that's released is one sided and that maybe, just maybe, people should wait for it to develop before going "hurr all Dutch are pussies"
Stingers? It's highly unlikely those are still operable.
They are, the Taliban has taken out several NATO aircraft with them.

Sure, they may have a few obtained from the Mujahadeen in the 1990s civil war, but the age of the batteries and components mean they're past their shelf life and have most likely decayed. Any missiles that reports and news believe to be Stingers are most likely Iranian copies or supplied from Pakistan.

One attack was from 11,000 ft away, which the gov't tried to cover up.
RPG-7s are SHITTY anti-air rockets. If anything the Apaches still could of taken some of the heat.
i'm sorry i didn't realize you were a weapons expert who clearly knows everything about weapons from first hand experience
i'm sorry i didn't realize you were a weapons expert who clearly knows everything about weapons from first hand experience
I wouldn't know about the second part of his post, but a lot of lolgifs will show you that RPG-7's in the hands of insurgents make for some hilarious incompetence
i'm sorry i didn't realize you were a weapons expert who clearly knows everything about weapons from first hand experience
RPG-7's are just about useless at hitting anything past 500 metres, and that's when it's sitting still.
i'm sorry i didn't realize you were a weapons expert who clearly knows everything about weapons from first hand experience
Have you ever seen them used anywhere ever? They spiral like fuck, couldn't hit the broad side of a barn 500 m away

Hell, what they describe of the Stinger could be easily attributed to more modern systems like Igla.
Let me run a scenario past you. You are walking down the street and you are attacked by someone. There is a policeman nearby. You call for his help but he says he has been instructed not to intervene. You aren't exactly going to say "fair enough". Your trying to make it sound like it wasn't the fault of the Apache crew, and it is a really, really bad attempt.
More like this: You are attacked by someone, a policeman cames towards you, but you say everything is okay and that he needs to go away.
More like this: You are attacked by someone, a policeman cames towards you, but you say everything is okay and that he needs to go away.
More like this: You're being mugged and robocop is across the street and just plain doesn't give a fuck
RPG-7s are SHITTY anti-air rockets. If anything the Apaches still could of taken some of the heat.
Shitty or not, they still weigh over a kilo per warhead and travel at past the speed of sound. If the apache pilots were being talked to by their command what can they do? [editline]23rd October 2010[/editline]
Have you ever seen them used anywhere ever?
Shitty or not, they still weigh over a kilo per warhead and travel at past the speed of sound. If the apache pilots were being talked to by their command what can they do?
The muzzle velocity of the various RPG-7 projectiles is only 100-140 meters per second, well below the 343.2 meters per second of the speed of sound.
i'm sorry i didn't realize you were a weapons expert who clearly knows everything about weapons from first hand experience
No, they really are shitty anti-air.
The muzzle velocity of the various RPG-7 projectiles is only 100-140 meters per second, well below the 343.2 meters per second of the speed of sound.
Okay my bad. That's still pretty fucking zippy. Then again RE:the possibility that they had stingers, as was doubtlessly discussed in the past 5 pages, even at 5000 feet a stinger's still gonna get you.
More like this: You're being mugged and robocop is across the street and just plain doesn't give a fuck
robocop is a horrible cop though he didn't arrest anyone ever
robocop is a horrible cop though he didn't arrest anyone ever
All he ever did was kill them
Okay my bad. That's still pretty fucking zippy. Then again RE:the possibility that they had stingers, as was doubtlessly discussed in the past 5 pages, even at 5000 feet a stinger's still gonna get you.
A Military Helicopter might be shot down in a warzone? Dear god!

The goddamn Dutch! :argh:
i love arab video editing
The first video I found was just god awful. Like 8 minutes of repeating a guy shooting a mounted .50 cal twice, then it jamming...
No sonic boom when they fire, not over the speed of sound, try again.
Do bullets sonic boom?
