Meet the Visby class corvettes.
The only active, fully stealth ship in the world.
Problem?
That's sexy as hell.
They spotted our prototype. Doesn't matter, we have ten more on the way.
Get out of here st-submarine!

What are you finns up to now? Submersible vodka?
What are you fins up to now? Submersible vodka?
It's spelled finns. And yes, submersible booze and saunas.
One day we'll have space saunas.

http://www.resonancepub.com/images/stealth_ship.gif this is the us's stealth ships, their are more than one.
Didn't they claim that a possibly soviet submarine had been sighted in swedish waters back in the 80s?
I saw a parody news report of that where they found out it was actually a swimming giraffe, it's head mistaken for a periscope.
Edit: seriously, they searched for THAT sumbarine forever and it was never found. This year they found a soviet sub wreck in their territorial water though, possible connection but unlikely.
Edit2: I hope were in for another goose chase.
Putin joyriding again
Hahah... This is why only suckers live in Sweden.
Oh wait...
Damn Garry, don't let your dick out underwater!
It's going to find Notch and stop him from taking vacations too often.

That's just experimental.
Also, my 47 year old step brother was on the same ship that captured the soviet submarine prisoners in the 80s. In fact, he was the one guarding the captain of that submarine.

No one would attack us. We're too damn cute. The sub is like a socially awkward nerd approaching a girl. He wants to fuck that, but nothings ever going to happen.
Russian submarine seen on swedish waters again? It's not like they are going to do anything.
They have to pass throught our Gulf to get to you anyway, and even thought our coastal guard hears them come and go all the time, we don't care that much.
But I do admit one being inside your port is worth a phone call, if two. You never know what those whacky russians could be up to.
And seriously, if anyone wants to declare war to Sweden and win, all you have to do is send one platoon and you have already toppled their ground forces.
This is equilevant of the russian planes "probing" our air-force's readiness, or the bombers going towards British isles before being intercepted.
them russians jelly cuz we got better internet, probably trying to steal our cables
Didn't this also happen some time ago?
That was acutally a piece of ice.
and a raft

Yeah, good luck with that. It isn't actually fully stealth and it can't launch surface to air missiles.
Which normally isn't a problem because ships operate in fleets and so one ship lacking that capability means nothing, but you can't have a stealth fleet with only one class of stealth ship.
Anti ship missions are going to almost universally be carried out by attack aircraft and any attack aircraft outfitted with air to surface missiles is going to be able to out range the bofor's cannon. A volly of missiles will overwhelm the soft kill system and score a hit.
Normally a hit wouldn't be a serious problem, but the stealth composite, while strong for its weight, isn't comparable to steel plating. The ship's RADAR reduction will immediately be ruined and it will likely sink after suffering considerably less damage than comparable corvettes.
Which is really a shame because it is a sexy ship. It was supposed to have SAM batteries too, but its development was extremely rocky, so it doesn't have half the features the ship was supposed to have.

What mission is it going to accomplish? The instant it tries to engage a ground target with those missiles, its position is given away.
It can't hunt subs because the depth charge launchers were removed. (EDIT: No they weren't. Just some of the sub hunting capabilities)

Sweden is being paranoid. It's probably an underwater fishing boat

ah.
of course
Isn't this the same as the russian bombers flying over country's airspace?
Yeah, good luck with that. It isn't actually fully stealth and it can't launch surface to air missiles.
Ha! The finnish equivalent can do that!
