I'm proud of being straight; I don't need a parade.
Then you could say that pale skin being a standard of beauty in Japan is racist. Again, pride isn't always used in the way LGBT communities do.
When you thinkof white pride, do you first think of pale skin in Japan? [editline]31st July 2015[/editline]
Pride parades in general are stupid who cares what your sexual orientation is.
Pride parades is not about bragging about your sexuality, it's to show solidarity.
There's absolutely nothing that makes sense about straight pride though. And if you asked "But if gay people are proud of their community's achievements then why can't I be proud of what straight people have achieved"? Because your sexuality doesn't inherently make you more likely to achieve something. Having straight pride because Einstein was straight is pointless, his sexuality has no bearing on what he achieved. Having pride in being a part of the same community as Harvey Milk makes sense, however, because the fact that he was gay made his achievements much more meaningful.
I just don't agree with the use of pride in this context, or the idea of it having limits. It's up to every person to decide for themselves whether or not they're proud of themselves, and why they are. Who are we to decide who should and should not get to have a feeling of pride? Even in cases where we think it's ridiculous, pride is arbitrary and can be applied to anything. Even contrarians get to have pride! Also, I never mentioned my sexuality ;o
When you thinkof white pride, do you first think of pale skin in Japan?
What does it matter what it makes us think of? The point is that Japanese with pale skin are proud of it and that doesn't make them racists. Just because your own prejudices makes you associate white pride with racism doesn't mean it's always the case.
Neither is anything to be proud of, in any sense of the word. Just shut the fuck up about what sexuality you have. No one should want to know.
let's take a quick look at this guy's title
Thou•shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: itis•abomination.
uhu. okay yeah uh
let's take a quick look at this guy's title uhu. okay yeah uh
What that actually means is men are for anal and women for making babies.
