I actually looked up the passages in the Bible mentioning marriage. While non of them explicity stated that marriage could take place between a man and another man, nowhere was it mentioned either that it couldn't. It also doesn't define marriage as such, but rather mentions "a marriage between a man and his wife" and such - here marriage is seperate form a man and his wife, and I'd argue that there's enough doubt for a theologian to say that marriage isn't necessarily between a man and a woman. That's not to say know the Bible very well, but this is what I found.
