I like my Blackberry. It has buttons!!!!!
That bump is fucking ugly and defeats the purpose. I'd rather have a fat flat phone than a thin one with bulges. Also gorilla glass? Which part of a gorilla can be made into glass? Galaxy Nexus is better
I had a Samsung SGH-X820 phone about two years ago, which was the thinnest cellphone around at the time. It was unbelievably thin. Sometimes I thought I had lost it just because I couldn't find it in my pockets. Then one night after a party, I found it broken in two in my pocket, but I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
It's pretty damn sexy. Shame about the Verizon logo.
Who cares about splashproof, I want a phone that I can use UNDERWATER
The Sonim XP3
So what's even the point of making phones thin as fuck
1 : keep it the same thickness as the camera hump. 2 : Fill extra space with battery. 3 : ???? 4 : Profit, and gain a decent battery life.
It's pretty damn sexy. Shame about the Verizon logo.
I completely disagree TBH the side buttons look annoying to use, the Verizon logo is in a terrible spot, and the trapezoidal edges make it look really weird I'll pass
i dont get why people complain about thin phones not being strong enough, it's not as if they snap in half or anything
i dont get why people complain about thin phones not being strong enough, it's not as if they snap in half or anything
I don't want that to be a possibility period.
i dont get why people complain about thin phones not being strong enough, it's not as if they snap in half or anything
people don't understand that materials used in modern phones aren't hard but flexible, by comparison you can look at the iPhone 4 which has hard glass and thus is more prone to fall damage
people don't understand that materials used in modern phones aren't hard but flexible, by comparison you can look at the iPhone 4 which has hard glass and thus is more prone to fall damage
still, what is the advantage of having a phone so thin? mine is like 1.2cm thick and it's just perfect IMO
But no email
I could set it up for email, except I don't really get important emails.
I still have an ancient (2007 maybe?) Razr. Only problem is that is doesn't ring, only silent and vibrate settings work. Other than that and a few small scratches, it works perfectly.
still, what is the advantage of having a phone so thin? mine is like 1.2cm thick and it's just perfect IMO
Some people really do prefer very thin phones. But ignoring that, if we can make a really thin phone with good specs then we can make a slightly thicker phone (somewhere around 1cm being the sweet spot) with very good specs :v:
I always stick with a proper shite bad boy phone, it's a talking point in any conversation plus it's cheap as hell. I don't have money to be spending on contracts and shit when I need to eat. It does look pretty nice though, I remember the old Razr was the phone I always wanted
i dont get why people complain about thin phones not being strong enough, it's not as if they snap in half or anything
I like my stuff to both FEEL and actually BE durable. Talking about Nokia 3310 grade durable AT MINIMUM
I completely disagree TBH the side buttons look annoying to use, the Verizon logo is in a terrible spot, and the trapezoidal edges make it look really weird I'll pass
You can thank Apple for that, now everyone tries to make their smartphone incredibly weird so that Apple doesn't sue.

Talking about Nokia 3310 grade durable AT MINIMUM
I've got a spare Nokia 3310 in my car. I've also got a Nokia 1208. When I was younger we were drinking at the park and it started to rain, like really really hard and I lost my phone. The next morning my dad got a call, someone had found my phone on the park green the next morning on their way to work. It still lives to this day.

Guys I hardly doubt this will snap under normal use. Looks pretty nice anyways, but I'd rather have something else.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/19/motorola-razr-to-get-updated-to-ice-cream-sandwich-in-early-2012/ It's getting Android 4.0 (ICS) early 2012
You guys remember back when the RAZR was THE coolest phone to have? Looking back could never imagine how far phones have come. This is really nostalgic
I could set it up for email, except I don't really get important emails.
Sounds lame to me. BB is fading away. Anyone know the sytem req for 4.0? I've a Galaxy S (not SII) and of course I'm wondering if phones with 1ghz and 512mb of RAM can handle it.

I love and still use the old motorola RAZR, this thing is a beast, it fell into a puddle, it got thrown into the floor, it fell numerous of time, yet it still works perfectly, with only tiny cracks on the back and it's front. never have I seen a phone that can survive that much damage.
Man, I still have my sexy RAZR. I think it's finally time for an upgrade!
You guys remember back when the RAZR was THE coolest phone to have? Looking back could never imagine how far phones have come. This is really nostalgic
I remember it being so impressive how thin it was. My only experience with cell phones beforehand was a Nokia 3310. :v:
