Why do people who are passionate about guns have to be rednecks? Ignorant asshole. Also just a fun fact - there are more accidents in cheerleading then hunting. Just when there is a hunting accident it is blown out of proportion.
People in cheerleading accidents tend not to get shot in the face
That isn't a proper argument against gun control. You think the law is defeated by saying "hurr durr I'll just stab them instead!" Then you'll stab them, but you won't have a gun.
You kind of prove my point. The people that use the guns for bad things are evil, not the guns themselves. Without guns, killers will still kill. Or better yet maybe they will just use crossbows, and then everyone can carry a crossbow around to defend themselves.
HOW IS THIS ANY MORE DANGEROUS THAN THIS qed [editline]04:36PM[/editline] You really got me there, you're such a gun expert I can tell when you make such intelligent comparisons
They're both inanimate objects until a human being is involved. Neither is dangerous.
Not really though you sound like an idiot who shouldn't be allowed to handle a firearm. No, I like being the only rational person in existence, apparently. All of your arguments are bullshit.
I also see you have some anger management issues. :fuckyou:
You kind of prove my point. The people that use the guns for bad things are evil, not the guns themselves. Without guns, killers will still kill. Or better yet maybe they will just use crossbows.
That's like saying we should allow bombs because carpet bombing is usually premeditated. The point of the argument is to deter crime and make it more difficult.
Lankist has the right idea. Guns need to be treated with the idea that they are dangerous. This doesn't mean you have to ban all of them. Treat it with the respect of something that can kill. I'm a big gun nut, but they DO have the power to kill off-handedly, by accident, if you aren't careful. That's why I am actually more afraid of dying by knife, because you really can't do that by accident, and there's just so much hate behind that. Though, really, I'm more scared of people than guns, because they can't fire by themselves, unloaded. Proper respect for firearms need to be instilled in people before they can handle them.
Neither is dangerous.
See this is why you shouldn't be allowed to own firearms.
See this is why you shouldn't be allowed to own firearms.
Explain to me how a gun is dangerous without a human being behind it.
Fuck your "14 years exposure", you clearly don't know jack fuck and have no respect for the dangerous implications of gun ownership. You don't deserve to own one. [editline]04:41PM[/editline]
Explain to me how a gun is dangerous without a human being behind it.
Explain how a nuke is dangerous without a human being behind it. [editline]04:42PM[/editline] Actually, exactly, guns AREN'T dangerous without people. Therefore: Keep guns away from people.
Explain to me how a gun is dangerous without a human being behind it.
Guns often have people behind them, that's kinda the point
Your logic [editline]04:42PM[/editline]
Guns often have people behind them, that's kinda the point
He's got a point, guns AREN'T dangerous without people, and therefore we should keep people AWAY from guns. Right?
Obama is not going to do anything to the 2nd ammendment, he changed his views after a supreme court decision allowed hand guns in DC.
Fuck your "14 years exposure", you clearly don't know jack fuck and have no respect for the dangerous implications of gun ownership. You don't deserve to own one.
Sorry, police and ATF both disagree with you. Said it once and I'll say it again. A gun is no more dangerous than the person behind it.
Sorry, police and ATF both disagree with you. Said it once and I'll say it again. A gun is no more dangerous than the person behind it.
Then guns have no danger if they are out of the hands of the people. Problem solved!
He's got a point, guns AREN'T dangerous without people, and therefore we should keep people AWAY from guns. Right?
No, if we ban everything dangerous, we lose a lot of things. Like action movies. Stunts are dangerous.
Your logic [editline]04:42PM[/editline] He's got a point, guns AREN'T dangerous without people, and therefore we should keep people AWAY from guns. Right?
Yes Saying that guns are harmless without people is a dumb argument when their whole point is to be used by people
No, if we ban everything dangerous, we lose a lot of things. Like action movies. Stunts are dangerous.
Except how, in the hands of a person, a gun is a LOT more dangerous than windex.
Hahaha, stupid, panicky rednecks. He hasn't said or done shit about guns and they've still got each other scared enough to spend huge amounts of money stockpiling ammunition.
http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Barack_Obama_Gun_Control.htm Also, the gun prices has risen, and ammunition is at a high. Sorry I said tax. I just heard a lot about it lately and have no proof to back it up.
http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Barack_Obama_Gun_Control.htm Also, the gun tax has risen, and ammunition is at a high.
Find me the legislation that rose the gun tax.
No, if we ban everything dangerous, we lose a lot of things. Like action movies. Stunts are dangerous.
Stunts are performed by stuntmen who know what they are doing Many gun owners clearly do not
Then guns have no danger if they are out of the hands of the people. Problem solved!
No, we should put criminals in prison and let the legal system take care of sorting out the bad apples so that those of us who are responsible, upstanding citizens don't have to be denied our civil liberties. [editline]04:49PM[/editline]
http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Barack_Obama_Gun_Control.htm Also, the gun tax has risen, and ammunition is at a high.
What gun tax? I don't remember being taxed more than anything else when buying firearms and ammunition...
http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Barack_Obama_Gun_Control.htm Also, the gun tax has risen, and ammunition is at a high.
I don't believe taxes rose, it's just prices getting marked up by clever gun retailers taking advantage of fearful Americans worried over nothing.
No, we should put criminals in prison and let the legal system take care of sorting out the bad apples so that those of us who are responsible, upstanding citizens don't have to be denied our civil liberties.
You kinda lose your civil liberties completely if you are shot and killed by someone with a gun, whether accidentally or not
See this is why you shouldn't be allowed to own firearms.
Guns don't have feelings, they aren't alive, they don't decide who is on the receiving end. It's the human factor. Ban humans, that's the only logical explanation. And it's not fair for some people to have guns and some not to, it creates oppression.
No, we should put criminals in prison and let the legal system take care of sorting out the bad apples so that those of us who are responsible, upstanding citizens don't have to be denied our civil liberties.
But guns are dangerous only in the hands of people, as you claim. And therefore they pose absolutely NO danger if they are banned. Prison sentences don't bring dead people back to life. Banning guns would prevent a great loss of life, this is undeniable. [editline]04:50PM[/editline]
Guns don't have feelings, they aren't alive, they don't decide who is on the receiving end. It's the human factor.
Except how, in the hands of a person, a gun is a LOT more dangerous than windex.
We aren't going by levels of dangerousness. We're going by "Dangerous or not". Tons of things are dangerous. Electricity is fucking dangerous. Fire is fucking dangerous. Granted, we need these things to function as a society, sort of, but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are dangerous. Hell, LIVING is dangerous. EVERYBODY dies. NATURE is the most dangerous fucking thing on the planet. Your own brain can malfunction and kill you, or have you kill other people. However, if we treat things like fire and electricity and other shit with respect, and use them safely, we likely won't be hurt by these things. Same thing with guns.
Guns don't have feelings, they aren't alive, they don't decide who is on the receiving end. It's the human factor. Ban humans, that's the only logical explanation.
We aren't going by levels of dangerousness. We're going by "Dangerous or not".
No. YOU aren't. The rest of us are. Guns ARE more dangerous. There are degrees of danger. You can't just ignore them.
How is it oppression Some people are allowed to drive and others aren't, people without driving licenses are oppressed!
hes a troll ignore him
