No I lock my door
If I kick your door down?
You don't understand the law. If someone is walking/running away with your belongings and you shoot them, you've just committed murder.
Because you can never shoot their arms or legs and wound them, probably causing them to fall down. (of course they could bleed out to death, but it's unlikely this isn't vietnam with snipers everywhere)
If I kick your door down?
Good luck with that
If I kick your door down?
Pulverize the lock with your Saiga for bonus points.

If you point a gun at someone, you'd better be damned ready to kill them.
And If someone did actually break in I would probably threaten them with a bat or something, I wouldn't shoot them as then I'd go to jail
You don't understand the law. Whether or not they have my property in their hands is irrelevant.

Not to mention, you're accountable for every missed shot. If you miss and kill someone else because you weren't shooting for center of mass(like you should), you just committed murder.
You never, ever, EVER shoot to wound. If you point a gun at someone, you'd better be damned ready to kill them.
Who are you to tell me how to defend my self? I'm a cop (which I'm not, it's an example) I am going to shoot to wound/disable never to kill.
And If someone did actually break in I would probably threaten them with a bat or something, I wouldn't shoot them as then I'd go to jail
No you wouldn't.
If I kick your door down?
Shit, if you kicked my door down that would give me reason enough to fear for my life, thus enacting aforementioned castle doctrine, and boom
Yea because it's so easy to place a bullet within a couple inches of a target under stress. Not to mention, you're accountable for every missed shot.
Who are you to tell me how to defend my self? I'm a cop (which I'm not, it's an example) I am going to shoot to wound/disable never to kill.
If you are not willing to kill a person, you should NEVER point a gun at them.
No you wouldn't.
I wouldn't what? In Britain I would most certainly go to jail if I shot someone for breaking in Seeing as guns are illegal here
This has been going on for a while now. I stopped by at Cabella's in July, and they had no handgun ammo, and rifle ammo was upwards of $60 a box. (About $3 a bullet) The guy there said that they had gotten about 1500 rounds of pistol ammunition earlier in the week, and it was sold out within 20 minutes.
Who are you to tell me how to defend my self? I'm a cop (which I'm not, it's an example) I am going to shoot to wound/disable never to kill.
If gun is out of holster and drawn, they usually aren't going to try to wound someone
I wouldn't what? In Britain I would most certainly go to jail if I shot someone for breaking in Seeing as guns are illegal here
Oh... Britainners... Pfft. :smug:
Oh... Britainners... Pfft. :smug:
Yes See guns are illegal here and I haven't been killed by a 'home invasion' yet
I wouldn't what? In Britain I would most certainly go to jail if I shot someone for breaking in Seeing as guns are illegal here
You can legally own guns in the UK with proper licensing.
If you are not willing to kill a person, you should NEVER point a gun at them.
That's pretty stupid. I'm willing to defend my self, but I'll avoid killing them at all costs. What the fuck happened to being in the middle ground?
You can legally own guns in the UK with proper licensing.
Yeah but it's rare And even with a license, shoot a burglar and go straight to jail no pass go
Yes See guns are illegal here and I haven't been killed by a 'home invasion' yet
That's also because you're all pussies. :smug: Nah, Britain just has a lot of STABBING.
If gun is out of holster and drawn, they usually aren't going to try to wound someone
Yet again, I'm talking about my own personal actions and what I think people should do.
That's pretty stupid. I'm willing to defend my self, but I'll avoid killing them at all costs. What the fuck happened to being in the middle ground?
With firearms there are no middle grounds, any squeezing of the trigger is potentially fatal
That's also because you're all pussies. :smug: Nah, Britain just has a lot of STABBING.
We don't have that much stabbing Tabloid sensationalism
Yeah but it's rare And even with a license, shoot a burglar and go straight to jail no pass go
That's why I live in Texas. :clint:
With firearms there are no middle grounds, any squeezing of the trigger is potentially fatal
Doesn't mean you have to grantee it either
That's why I live in Texas. :clint:
And thus much more likely to get shot than me ;)
If you are not willing to kill a person, you should NEVER point a gun at them.
Big gun safety note is to keep your finger completely off the trigger unless you are going to shoot. If you are in a potentially life threatening situation and you have a firearm you're probably going to point the weapon towards the attacker, but otherwise gun safety says to keep the thing pointed down and away from everyone. Big thing though is to keep your finger off the fucking trigger so you can't try to blame a twitchy finger on a misfire.
Alright, I'm done with this argument, I think what I think, You think what You think. I'm bored now
