It's pretty creepy that he monitors the internet for his name.
I'm sure we've all done that once in our lives.
"mommy mommy, some kids at school said some mean things to me!" "it's OK brown back, how about some of that soup you like?" "NO, I HATE THAT SOUP AND I HATE YOU WAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa.......... *door slam*" first thing that popped to my mind. He sounds like a child.
Actually I heard no direct quotes from him. "She hasn't heard from Brownback or his staff."
Best tweeter 2011
"Dear Brownback, I am sorry you are a douche. Sincerely, Emma Sullivan"
I demand all the GOP candidates write apology letters to each other and Obama.
A politician who can't take criticism is as bad as a first responder afraid of blood. [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] Or a Fireman afraid of Fire. Granted, it really was his creepy web crawling staff that got upset and sent the letter.
You guys should all be expecting letters ordering you to apologize for rating winner/commenting. :v:
Your a politician. Its inevitable that your going to have people that hate on you.
She should hand in a copy of the first amendment and moonwalk away
Streisand effect. Challenging the girl was the worst possible decision the governor could have made, now the whole world knows.
This article is actually listed in the Wikipedia page for the Streisand Effect lmao http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect
I wonder if he will notice me in Sweden if I make an offensive comment about him. Time for twitter!
Freedom of speech, Governors a dick.
I served as a page during the legislative process at my statehouse in April. About 30 of the 100 representatives were either playing Farmville or Angry Birds. The closest representative to the pages' area to the side would even forget to vote Yea or Nay. The House Speaker would tell him through the microphone to vote every time he forgot because he was so engrossed in Farmville. Sickens me to see the government for how it really is.
So he has an office that monitors and tries to censor the people that insult him? 1984 GO! [editline]30th November 2011[/editline]
This article is actually listed in the Wikipedia page for the Streisand Effect lmaohttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect
Funnily enough, they deleted the example. As said:1984 GO!
Brownback is an idiot anyways, and has accrued a rather negative light here in Kansas.
If I were her I'd write him an 'apology' letter. However, instead of an actual apology, the body of it would be explaining why I wasn't sorry, why I'm perfectly allowed to think and say whatever the fuck I want, and how violating my first amendment rights is a dick move extraordinaire. Glad to see she's standing up for herself, at least someone in my generation has the balls to go against the norm it seems.
I live in Kansas, Brownback can go fuck himself. He's a shit governor, and I have no sympathy for him. More power to her, I'd do the same.
Apparently he is an ok guy in person, at least that's what I've heard, and that Yoder is way worse.
the school is requiring an apology? it's called freedom of speech. and anyways, schools are supposed to stay out of politics. Let the kids have their opinions.

As said:1984 GO!
Sure, the governor is being a douchebag, but it's pretty absurd to compare him to the Party from 1984. This guy is just constantly nagging her, whereas the Oceanic government from said novel would have her confined and tortured until she went nuts. Then, shortly after, they'd release her back into society, only to put a bullet through her head.
Do you think he can see this thread, with his name finder and all? Maybe he's reading all of this right now. If so: Fuck you Brownback
where does it say the governor did anything all i see is that his office contacted the school, and then the school demanded an apology - not the governor
