The responsibility of acts against homosexuals are on the Cuban government, not Castro himself. Same as, even though Churchill was a douche, he wasn't completly at fault for Turing and the string of mutilation of Homosexuals. It was England's fault. I get what you mean, but I'm referring to the Cuban government, not Castro himself. [editline]04:45PM[/editline] Say for example, Obama: he's not exactly the most pro-LGBT person out there, but his government is more akin to help gays.
The British government used to take homosexuals and force hormone treatment on them, completely disfiguring their bodies. People like Alan turing killed themselves. So therefore England is an absolutely horrible country for what they did in the past. England has also become quite a proponent in LBGT rights. Alan Turing also helped end WW2 But of course, in thisispain's retarded world, shitposting makes your argument always right. Western governments used to do absolutely horrible things to homosexuals. Far worse then making them work in a camp. IE disfiguring and destroying their bodies. You are a horrible poster
:colbert:
Oh and Gordon Brown goes "lol sorry" Please, tell me Cuba is just as bad as England for being in the same ballpark. Personally, I'd rather be sent to a labour camp them forcefully mutilated by the government.
Please, tell me Cuba is just as bad as England for being in the same ballpark.
i never said england wasn't bad too i just found it interesting to apologize for something as if it makes it all better not to mention he said he's taking responsibility for it just because it's a communist government, it doesn't mean you should defend every facet of it
Wow, castro's really turned around. I'm starting to like his commentary
i never said england wasn't bad too i just found it interesting to apologize for something as if it makes it all better not to mention he said he's taking responsibility for it just because it's a communist government, it doesn't mean you should defend every facet of it
I don't? and they aren't communist.
I don't? and they aren't communist.
you're right, they're almost social democratic now though they are hardly democratic.
you're right, they're almost social democratic now though they are hardly democratic.
lol, they're pretty democratic actually.
lol, they're pretty democratic actually.
it's illegal to have any other political party than the communist party http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_Cuba now i'm pretty sure you're just defending cuba
it's illegal to have any other political party than the communist party
That doesn't mean it isn't democracy :/ Different candidates are going to have different views and different opinions. Just because they're from the same party doesn't mean anything. Having only one party could even be better for democracy, then people would only be voting based on how good or bad a leader the candidate would make, rather than "LOL I'M REPUBLICAN/DEMOCRAT SO I'M GONNA VOTE REPUBLICAN/DEMOCRAT EVEN THOUGH OUR CANDIDATE IS A MORON" :downs:
it's illegal to have any other political party than the communist party http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_Cuba now i'm pretty sure you're just defending cuba
Parties =/= democracy not even that, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_parties_in_Cuba read the whole article.
it's an interesting kind of democracy where the head of state isn't elected and all candidates are sponsored by the head party
You didn't even read the article lol
yes i did you're confusing republicanism with democracy
What's next? Kim Jong Il opening up negotiations with South Korea for possible reunification? Pol Pot building a memorial for his victims? Ben Franklin playing tetherball with Van Helsing? This is odd. Very odd.
