China showing off again: US satellite snaps China's first aircraft carrier at sea

China getting aircraft carriers, even if they have no aircraft to carry, is scary but not as scary as if they developed nuclear weapons. As long as that doesn't happen I won't worry.
US waves around it's military dick as much as it can and to anyone they meet, have several aircraft carriers and have invaded quite a few countries in the last 50 years.
Chine gets 1 aircraft carrier. Fucking belligerent commie Chinese showing off and threatening the world.
OP from Singapore creates a sensationalist title to a British article, and you someone find a way to bitch about America. Nice job.
It's actually the second; the first one was made of lead and didn't work out too well.

Seeing as China was long time best buds with the Soviets, I'm sure they have plenty of nukes.
If I remember correctly, China is building 2 more aircraft carriers currently.
One they already built, and they converted it into a hotel.
Yeah, I know. I thought it was pretty fucking strange, too.
After the other one's finished, they'll have it and this ex-Soviet carrier in their fleet.

That already happened.
The first Chinese nuclear bomb test, codenamed "596", was tested at Lop Nur in 1964. The PRC detonated its first hydrogen bomb on June 17, 1967. Since 1964, the lake has been used as a nuclear test site. Until 1996, 45 nuclear tests were conducted.

It's not how big it is, it's how you use it.
Fit more planes on a bigger boat?
Combined with their trans-Pacific inter-ocean anti-carrier torpedoes, this will be the shit.

China has almost 200 active warheads.
And they do have a moderately strong air force- the tech right now is basically late Soviet jets, though. Although they are developing an F-22 counter with Russia, and their own F-22 counter that they just tested.
But they can't land them on carriers yet, so all the carrier is good for is showing off, unless they plan to use it like the cruise ship in Speed 2.

I knew one day chinese people would want to over rule the world, think about it they are 90% of Chinese more in Australia than any other state and they will one day whip out the entire white man existence.
