Remember, Kotaku had an article where a writer talked about his relationship with a character in a visual novel.
didn't they also do one where they said diablo 3 made her realize she doesn't love her husband because he got frustrated at her being a shit teammate?
I could list dozens of articles with terrible journalism by her but not gonna bother, Patricia Hernandez is a joke of a journalist in general.
Watch as a Kotaku user takes a joke and uses it to make random assumptions that humans are naturally mass murderers and simply don't have the means to target people effectively. [editline]4th June 2014[/editline] Oh my fucking god one of the replies is a guy who is literally so afraid of being killed for his opinions that he won't put bumper stickers on his car. It's like Kotaku seeks these people out to find a home for them all.
So why again did you write an entire article about it?
Because people are really reaching for reasons to hate this game. and it's Kotaku.

Equally, what stops a user from shooting any white person, or man, or somebody with a high-paying job? If it was the point of the game, then I'd understand, but the developers can't really control what you do in a sandbox game without making it a linear one.

I really don't understand Kotaku. One day they write an article about how games that show scantily clad women are the worst things to ever exist. Then today or whenever they release an article praising that Vita game where you literally jack your vita off in order to get pictures of anime girls more naked.
help me choose which virtual girl to date
74 days? Fuckin scub.
They have multiple writers and are open to trying numerous forms of clickbaiting?
I guess I'm just so used to each member of the American news media having it's own niche of why they're shit that the idea of a news website being equally shit in every conceivable category is just a surprise.
I don't believe it's really the game's or it's devs' fault how the game can be played. Genuinely racist/sexist/whatever people can't just change to something else while they are playing this game. edit: If you kill dudes in the game on the account of them being profiled zionists you probably wont shoot them up in real life, but still your actions might mirror some real prejudice.
People doing what they want in a game? This has to be stopped! Laughed hard when he shoots the Canadian though.
re..read the comments.
What kind of life is this person leading?
this is literally the best
The thing is, I think in Watch Dogs it's meant to gross you out whereas if this was in Saints Row it would be used for comedic value
I think it's meant to add depth to people/humanize them slightly, if not sometimes used for some funny information People actually do all of these things though, so maybe not
The thing is, I think in Watch Dogs it's meant to gross you out whereas if this was in Saints Row it would be used for comedic value
Nah the game plays these for laughs, especially when you have a distraction opportunity.
ill just add this is the same tard that said killing girls in online games is THE equivalent of rape.

I think some of the writers from that age are still around despite the site's more recent "success" with drama queens like Patricia Hernendez and white knights like Jason Schrier.
What kind of life is this person leading?
Honestly who didn't see this coming? Everyone was saying that was going to happen as soon as we started seeing just what those NPC descriptions contained. Maybe not in an entirely serious fashion, but it was definitely expected.
So to not offend people you should only be able to kill rich wasp men, better?
Especially when there's plenty of it free
Which are illegal and technically warez by the way
The thing is, I think in Watch Dogs it's meant to gross you out whereas if this was in Saints Row it would be used for comedic value
are you saying furries gross you out
Can "reads kotaku" be added to the list
Can we get a proper source on this story from an actual journalist and news site?
Elliot Rodger Simulator 2014
Patricia Hernandez at it again.
The thing that offends me most about Kotaku is the name It's like they want to be reputable for being a haven for weird shut-in perverts
To be fair, you could do this in any game with violence in it ever just about
