hey I'm not trying to say the government's doing it right, it's simply their justification that said, it's a lot to expect the government to assume any sort of responsibility when they get accused of nefarious shit
i never understood the point of some of you guys constantly posting stuff like "hey its not that i agree with it i'm just stating their reasoning" like yeah i understand that what he did is illegal you don't need to explain to me WHY they're doing it, we're talking about whether it SHOULD be illegal

It'd be nice if they did, but it's just not feasible.

I wish some actual political consequences go down because of this. The fact the NSA did this internationally probably violated several international laws.

I never said it was a good program, but the US government isn't going to just act as if this is all news to them. In a perfect world, he would be pardoned, all militaries on the world will be shut down and world peace would be declared.
