• Not being on Facebook is 'suspicious' - most likely insane or a mass murderer

Facebook is the new 9gag every time I log in...so I never log in...
if you don't use a social networking site you are more likely to kill i'm pretty sure that's not the major factor there
Its not necessarily the social network, its the anti-social tendencies, and not having a Facebook is one of them, just like how sitting alone at lunch everyday is also one of those things. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] Facebook used to be better, I liked it when you could see everyone who was online on the IM, and there wasn't any spam of retarded as shit images and shit. But now its just kinda boring, and I don't really want it anymore, but its an important want to connect to people.
Hitler didn't have a Facebook account because Facebook didn't exist circa 1943.
That's just the official story, Hitler committed mass genocide. That was the only reason he didn't have Facebook.

guys did you know that walking is dangerous because you can be ran over by a car and have your right arm come off also did you know that cookies can kill you if you get a heart attack
On a more tangible level, Forbes.com reports that human resources departments across the country are becoming more wary of young job candidates who don't use the site.
So not being on Facebook could make me potentially lose my spot at jobs? I better start posting on Facebook and pretend I give a shit. My future career may depend on it.
ok mr doctorate degree in sociology
I don't think it takes a college degree to figure that not having a social networking website (that is, cutting down your possible connections with other humans) is anti-social.
I don't think it takes a college degree to figure that not having a social networking website (that is, cutting down your possible connections with other humans) is anti-social.
you really don't have any right to make bold claims like this, and what you're saying has an bias to it inherently
What's this? Do I agree with Clementine for once? ... Perhaps I should rethink my argument.
Not having a Facebook account isn't a sign you are a murderer, it's a sigh that you don't have many friends. Yes someone with no friends is more likely to feel detached from society and murder, but that doesn't mean that your a murderer because you aren't social.

Can't we just all agree that this is just incredibly stupid and stop trying to make generalizations?
What's this? Do I agree with Clementine for once? ... Perhaps I should rethink my argument.
I think that's a perfectly valid reason to rethink an argument. Not having a Facebook doesn't make you anti-social. I don't really have a lot of friends (which I think is mostly because I don't consider everybody I don't hate a friend), but I'm not anti-social. I usually prefer to talk to people physically rather than digitally.
You can still be asocial while having a facebook account. I mean, do you honestly think I personally know all 350 facebook "friends"? I don't go out much, don't ever go clubbing or anything, the only things I go out for are the movie theater, college and gadget shopping. I don't even have a job.

What [editline]7th August 2012[/editline]
you really don't have any right to make bold claims like this, and what you're saying has an bias to it inherently
Forgot that I don't have the right to use my brain and find some connections. Its like if you don't go to parties you're more likely to be anti-social, its not necessarily true, but that's not the point, its not a 100% sure thing, its a "more likely" thing, and its true.
You don't have a lot of friends, but you aren't anti-social? What
this is entirely possible
this is entirely possible
I understand the concept, but to say you don't have a lot of friends is a little weird, I suppose I'm more thinking about not having a lot of friends as...not talking to a lot of people, like, keeping to yourself. Which is a little bit more anti-social, but I suppose that's not what he meant so.
I wouldn't call it antisocial but would continue to consider it something to be improved upon.
If anything having a facebook makes it easier to murder your friendslist, more like a hit list.
What's this? Do I agree with Clementine for once? ... Perhaps I should rethink my argument.
lol you kidding me? I know when I will and won't be agreed with, its simply more fun to be disagreed with, in this case its a mixed opinion, and I knew that would be the case, there are people who will defend their own personal antisocial tendencies (like not having a facebook) and there are people who will lambaste those who don't have a Facebook because they have a Facebook
My Opa doesn't have Facebook and he really is a Nazi. Probably because he's not on Facebook, not because of the indoctrination he underwent as a child..
I have friends who use facebook mostly to mock facebook and friends that use facebook solely to store interesting links they found while using someone else's computer. What's the mental prognosis on them?
My innate abilities to absolutely determine psychological conditions through the use of social networking sites indicates: Possible latent homosexuality with dual Napoleon/inferiority complex,
are we still arguing over antisociality jeez
That's the subject of the thread.
I don't think it takes a college degree to figure that not having a social networking website (that is, cutting down your possible connections with other humans) is anti-social.
funnily enough, i was going to say something snarky about this, then i remembered this commercial did it for me
So basically the Amish are bunch of homicidal psychopaths.

I don't have a Facebook, nor will I ever use it again. I don't like it. Watch out FP, one of you might die...
