Who gives a shit? If a company wants to aim for more console based games then so be it, PC gaming's being held back by people producing shit games and everyone crying over how the mean old nasty consoles are taking over.
shit games? have you seen civil 5 or starcraft, Im not even rts fans but i will admit those games are awesome
shit games? have you seen civil 5 or starcraft, Im not even rts fans but i will admit those games are awesome
well have you seen kane and lynch 2 there you go
You know why PC gaming isn't a very profitable market? Piracy.
Pirates download console games too.
Pirates download console games too.
not even in the same range as PC games considering you can't play online with them (there are many ways to play online with pirated games) and they require modding
well have you seen kane and lynch 2 there you go
that was for pc and xbox
well have you seen kane and lynch 2 there you go
That game is available on consoles too though....
that was for pc and xbox
he's basically saying the same thing i was saying in the other thread, PC gaming is being held back by shit games, not graphics
he's basically saying the same thing i was saying in the other thread, PC gaming is being held back by shit games, not graphics
but for every shit game for pc there are like 10 bad console games and yet they are on top
he's basically saying the same thing i was saying in the other thread, PC gaming is being held back by shit games, not graphics
Honestly I don't know how anyone can disagree with this statement. Even the consoles are being held back by shit games. The consoles are not the cause of shit games or the supposed "decline" of PC gaming (hardly much of a decline really). The shit games are coming from companies that are investing too much time, money, and effort into the wrong areas of gaming design. I bet we'll probably see another video game crash, just like the 80's... too much bullshit flooding the market.
PC gaming is being held back by shit games, not graphics
Especially lately. If PC gets a game, it's usually shitty. While consoles get all kinds of games, both shitty and fun.
What people do NOT like about PC gaming, and what I do not like as a PC gamer myself, is the fact that you'd be HARD PRESSED to use it as a party device at a house. You can sure, bring all your computers, but if they're all desktop computers (which any that can play a lot of games are) then it's the most impractical thing you'll ever do for fun, besides eating sunflower seeds
Especially lately. If PC gets a game, it's usually shitty. While consoles get all kinds of games, both shitty and fun.
The last 5 games i got for the pc were awesome and 2 of them were free (i dont mean pirating) you just have to look around a little more because instead of seeing what steam has on its store list
but for every shit game for pc there are like 10 bad console games and yet they are on top
Consoles are a lot more party friendly
If you’re a fan of both… well, you’ve clearly reached spiritual enlightenment.
That's me, although if I had my own good computer I would play on it more than my console.
I think its because pc doesnt really have an ad campaign like the rest of the videogame players
You know why PC gaming isn't a very profitable market? Piracy. [editline]27th November 2010[/editline] though all of you FREEDOM FIGHTERS are too blind to see it
erm pc gaming isn't profitable because its not possible for most households to purchase a decent gaming pc
Consoles are a lot more party friendly
true, even though lan parties are awesome it only works if other people have pcs
I think its because pc doesnt really have an ad campaign like the rest of the videogame players
That and they're shown as being cheaper singularly, which they generally are, but no one ever takes into account how the games are more expensive, and for xbox, the live subscription Just a question...does anyone take into account how much more it takes to power a PC than an xbox when you're paying for your electricity?
erm pc gaming isn't profitable because its not possible for most households to purchase a decent gaming pc
Im poor but for the same cost of a ps3 I got a pc that can run the same graphics. Its not as expansive as they say if you buy from places like new egg
erm pc gaming isn't profitable because its not possible for most households to purchase a decent gaming pc
That it so wrong I'm crying

Yay RAM restrictions directly affecting gameplay!
I think PC gaming is being held back by a lack of original ideas and the developers' focus on delivering aesthetically and technically pleasing games which don't take much of a risk in any other department, thus delivering an underwhelming, generic and much too familiar of an experience as far as the gameplay itself goes. Funny enough, that's exactly what Crytek has been doing since day one.
i don't why cost is such an issue they are both higher-class goods so i don't think the decision comes down to cost
Well yeah they're higher class objects but one simply costs more by POSSIBLY a few hundred more, which for some people is a lot of money...
Car turns corner and it magically disappears! Yay RAM restrictions directly affecting gameplay!
that's not even true and it happens on the PC even with its monstrous RAM requirement i have 6 GB's of RAM and i still run out of it on GTA IV
I like both consoles and PC, but if I had to choose, it would be the PC. I'm part of the master race.
