So, you know, just putting it out there. The majority of Republicans are like this guy, you just always hear about the crazy ones.
Thank you Mr. McDonald for proving that not all Republicans are twats.
I'd count Ron Paul in there as well, I think he's a pretty cool dude.

Bloomberg is pushing for gay marriage in NYC
Pretty funny seeing all the hardcore conservative nutjobs go insane over it
No, fox would never say anything against a republican
They'll just say he's a democrat.
They already lie in all of their other articles.
finally a politician who actually might benefit the country. Hopefully this starts a new wave of inter-party cooperation, because FOX can eat shit and America needs more politicians like him.

So true too.
This calls for him to be president.
Make this man president.
I swear you only get most of these proper thinking guys from the east, I used to live in Vermont and everything was cool, and the politicians weren't bat shit insane, people were mostly nice and friendly. My parents moved to fucking Utah, one of the most backwards, stupid, fucked up places in USA.
The majority of Republicans are like this guy
Is that why the GOP's official platform is the exact opposite of what he's doing here

I wonder how glabber feels about this?
Unfortunately the fact that he's doing what the thinks is right and not trying to be deceitful and appeal to certain groups means he probably won't be ever get voted to a higher position

Maybe he has a bright future as a Democrat
Funny how republicans are only good when they don't act like republicans
You can be Republican without being against homosexuality. It just seems to be a tendency among them.

Ha yeah it's just the Republicans who use deceit and the Democratic candidates are all in it for the greater good
I came in here thinking he was a delusional republican overreacting.
I was very pleasantly surprised. We need more like him.
You can be Republican without being against homosexuality. It just seems to be a tendency among them.
If by "tendency" you mean "official party platform" then yes, it does.
I wonder how glabber feels about this?
I remember a while back he said that same-sex marriage was equivalent to marrying children, polygamy, and bestiality. Then he got banned for it.
You can be Republican without being against homosexuality. It just seems to be a tendency among them.
Yeah, you can be a republican without being against homosexuality just as you can call yourself a Christian without believing in Jesus. But it goes against what the organization you label yourself as a member of stands for.
Ha yeah it's just the Republicans who use deceit and the Democratic candidates are all in it for the greater good
I want you to go look at the bills proposed and the statements made by Democrats and then do the same with Republicans. You will see time and time again that the things Republicans say and do are motivated by bigotry, hate, and their own self interests. You'll find a handful of the latter with the Democrats but I think most reasonable people will take a self-serving politician over an actively malicious one any day, especially when that politician's self interests just happen to line up with the interests of society.
I make an active attempt not to care about these kinds of things, so excuse the stupidity of my question:
what does it even mean to be a democrat or republican anymore? why are those terms still used when it's not about a democracy vs. a republic?

Democrats want economic regulation and personal deregulation while republicans want the opposite.
can't they agree on new names or something
I salute this guy.
