It's ironic cause Lady Ga Ga always tried to look like an anime girl.
Will this be the first time miku performs in america?
There was a concert in LA a while ago that sold out very quickly, if I remember correctly. Apparently there is a hell of an audience in America for Miku. I for one hate Hatsune Miku on a personal level because she stole the show from Parappa the Rapper and that is unforgivable.
Moonbase Alpha TTS for best voice synth singing program.
You're right, it's pretty great.
I'm enjoying this song a lot. Loving the chill out/uplifting trance vibe. Would you happen to know anymore songs like this?
Or look for HiroyukiODA songs.
And how many of the Vocaloid voices have you actually listened to?
Does that matter? I've listened to enough to know its not for me. Yeah yeah I know theres more than one "voice" they use, but I find I still dont like a lot of them.
Only on Facepunch do you find people saying Miku sounds like a damn chipmunk.
not really im sure a lot of people would agree
Shiromeshi
Ah, that's who that album was by. I couldn't remember their name. That's a good album and really a good example of not being generic anime kawaii uguu crap.
Why can't this program make voices that don't sound like a robotic imitation of Alvin and the Chipmunks? I mean I like the song but God damn that voice makes my skin crawl.
A lot of the stuff Deino does illustration for (such as the video in my post) are actually meant to have a sound that accomplishes that. But overall it really depends on who makes the song. The biggest issue with the vast majority of vocaloid music is that the people making the songs put nearly no effort into making the voices sound decent. As far as I've seen most of them just use the default settings for the voice which does make it sound like a robot is singing in a high pitched voice. If the video hadn't been removed from Youtube randomly I could link a really good comparison of default settings and actually good settings where I initially thought it was the singer who provided her voice for Miku singing.
Or look for Hiroyuki ODA songs.
Damn I'm loving his music, found a neat play list if anyone else is interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwQ4bR1esUg&list=PLE35D1A791B8B7B02
