While I think this could be a good thing and lead to teenagers getting actual education about this easily accessible thing called porn and how to understand it and not get false images of what sex is like, not to mention helping people stay away or recover from the very real problem of porn addiction, I'm worried that what the Republicans who passed this resolution want to teach is more along the lines of "don't have sex until you're married and only have sex to get pregnant, otherwise you go to hell."
Sex education is what fixes the problems they list. This will make the problems worse if not anything. Same as with "abstinence". People will have the same access to sex and porn as always, but will practice them unsafely.
Why not just... educate people on sex ed, you know, like that thing called Sex Ed. Also, inform them about pornography and the difference between regular sex and actual sexual violence. If this is enforced, then this will only make any real issues worse. It always does.
Sorry, this requires funding. According to my economy that purely relies on oil because we can't think of anything else that can fund an economy, if only that $300,000,000 dollars didn't go missing that one time but we chose to never investigate it, we could have funded a sector in education that is horribly underfunded. Sorry mate, whoopsies.
