The House went bat-shit over this... It's all over the local news.
Because saying killing and castrating gays is moral is A OH FUCKING KAY! :downs:
it isnt whether its ok or not its whether its legal
Democrat invites rapper that writes a song about cop killing
are you saying a rapper who wrote a song supporting someone he believed was innocent and falsely accused of cop killing and has done great things to support his community and propagate the importance of the culture of hip-hop not just for people in this nation but nations around the world, is in anyway comparable to a man who uses god as an excuse to propagate not only hate speech but also to propagate it amongst people who represent the very people he is propagating hate speech about now tell me, did you put any thought or care into this statement or are you simply trying to foolishly announce something you are too blind and heartless to take a real stand on. due to this statement you may not be defending this wicked and bigoted man, but you are enabling him, and enabling is a crime.
it isnt whether its ok or not its whether its legal
I'd be surprised if it isn't legal... :ohdear:
Democrat invites rapper that writes a song about cop killing = oh, hey, cool
he didn't write a song about cop killing [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] shit thisispain ninja'd me
the conservative media has been simply saying he is supporting cop killers in fact thats all i knew about him since my dad is 'libertarian'(read as: closet conservative) and listens to all that bullshit
And not a single peep about Bradlee Dean. Gee, I wonder why?
no its not legal
Really? I haven't seen any pastors arrested for telling his congregants to go out and kill gays.
And not a single peep about Bradlee Dean. Gee, I wonder why? Really? I haven't seen any pastors arrested for telling his congregants to go out and kill gays.
i'm fairly certain there are laws about inciting violence
the conservative media has been simply saying he is supporting cop killers
it's racist in it's own reasoning. common has been very articulate and sharp in so much of his commentary, yet the american media has to lower him to the role of a gangster rapper because he has the audacity to criticize the american justice system.
i'm fairly certain there are laws about inciting violence
He has yet to be arrested. Visited by authorities at most.
it's racist in it's own reasoning. common has been very articulate and sharp in so much of his commentary, yet the american media has to lower him to the role of a gangster rapper because he has the audacity to criticize the american justice system.
I wish I could say more than "this"....
Really? I haven't seen any pastors arrested for telling his congregants to go out and kill gays.
his speech to the legislature wasnt legal im surprised no one has filed a claim against the state for allowing that travesty to happen [editline]24th May 2011[/editline]
it's racist in it's own reasoning. common has been very articulate and sharp in so much of his commentary, yet the american media has to lower him to the role of a gangster rapper because he has the audacity to criticize the american justice system.
whats the name of the song?
whats the name of the song?

He has yet to be arrested. Visited by authorities at most. I wish I could say more than "this"....
not being arrested doesn't mean there isn't a law, it just means it's not being enforced

Yes, this is CLEARLY worse than this:
i actually really like that song he is pretty damn good at storytelling through song
Yes, this is CLEARLY worse than this:
now common has kinda said some anti-gay things but he apologized for it: http://www.newnownext.com/2007/09/06/common-pledges-no-more-anti-gay-lyrics/ so now what ridge needs to do is apologize for saying something so drop-dead retarded
Democrat invites rapper that writes a song about cop killing = oh, hey, cool Republican invites a pastor that writes a sermon about gays = HOLY SHIT 1ST AMENDMENT BIGOT!!
You're a total jackass, and here's why: First of all, common didn't write a song about cop killing. Second, the pastor they invited didn't write a sermon about gays, he wrote a sermon about HATING gays, you like to downplay that. Now, we all know you're a trailer-trash homophobic pile of toss, but it takes a special kind of stupid to not realise the MASSIVE fucking difference between gay-hating bigot who thinks gay people should be murdered, let me emphasise that 'MURDERED AS IN KILLED AND EXECUTED' and a rapper who has been a pivotal success in community development and the spreading of the arts among young people. Now, lets actually look at the facts: Achievements of Common, or Lonnie Rashid Lynn: - Very successful artist - Supports, and has aided in community development - Has attempted to spread, just, at least, a little tolerance amongst young people - apologised for his comments in the past that were rather discriminate - Wrote a song about the INNOCENCE, not the support for an alleged cop killer - Promoted the use of music/art among youth for a better, and successful life. - Is a supporter of Animal rights - Has some good songs, but that's subjective. - Has strengthened underground and independent hip-hop movements across the world. - Created labels that help out independent artists rise up. Achievements of Bradlee Dean: - Stated in a sermon, that gays should be executed - Started a youth movement called "You can run but you can't hide International" Which preaches anti-homosexuality, and far-right wing Christian extremism to CHILDREN in public schools. - Supports politicians based on how much they hate. - Is against the woman's right to abortions - Uses music to preach hate. - Preaches false information like the US was founded on Judeo-Christian values. - Targets children. - Gave money to Tom Emmer, a man who supports BANNING gays from having even civil partnerships, adoption, and legislation working to help LGBT victims of bullying. - Gave money and support to Michelle Bachmann, who is fucking batshit. - Promotes the hatred and alienation of homosexuals among young people, TO young people. Ridge, you have always posted off the wall, neo-con shit, but this takes the piss. To anyone who argues with you in the future, and has not experienced you before, I should show them this, to really show how much of a shallow and flat out ass-backwards, pants on head, bag of douche you are. Now I don't really say this much, I insult people, but don't really say this. But Ridge? Fuck you. [editline]24th May 2011[/editline]
so now what ridge needs to do is apologize for saying something so drop-dead retarded
I shall retract any insult I made towards him if he does indeed offer an apology. [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] Know what, nevermind, he said it anyway. He deserves it.
I shall retract any insult I made towards him if he does indeed offer an apology.
Highly doubt it.
Democrat invites rapper that writes a song about cop killing = oh, hey, cool Republican invites a pastor that writes a sermon about gays = HOLY SHIT 1ST AMENDMENT BIGOT!!
I've to help you with these white people problems of yours but I just have so many of my own to deal with right now did you know milk just went up three cents it's true
