It's not for the future, it's for your future. You want to go live in space, that's why you want it done now. We all know that eventually it's bound to happen, but you are being self-centered in the fact that you do not care about other people's problems, only your own fantasies.
I realize I'm not going into space for my future. However, people throughout time have to move on from location to location, with our growing populations we need to find new lands to live on. I highly doubt the human population will just stop increasing.
So you are saying cut the army's budget? We have to cut something you know, it's better that we cut something that probably won't benefit us for decades.
Like Healthcare. :smug:
Then why don't Europeans do a European Space Project then? If we're so good at Colonising.
thats because europeans don't need any more tea from india so they just got fat and lazy
However, people throughout time have to move on from location to location, with our growing populations we need to find new lands to live on. I highly doubt the human population will just stop increasing.
There's loads of room for people, it's just that people stay in the same place.
Because it's for the future. Eventually we will need to go into space, if we continue to spend money on things here on Earth, we'll never get there. The US military budget is over 680 billion dollars, NASA's is just under 18 billion. So spending about 40x the amount of money on killing people instead of moving into "the final frontier" makes sense? [editline]06:06PM[/editline] But it's something that must eventually happen. NASA has been trying new low-cost low-storage fuel, which should make the whole process cheaper.
I didn't say FUCK EARTH i said fuck NASA and there's other resource's to get in space other then NASA. We don't need to spend that money on NASA right now. Right Now Americas Economy system needs that money if it wants to "rebuild".
So you are saying cut the army's budget? We have to cut something you know, it's better that we cut something that probably won't benefit us for decades.
Why with the short-mindedness? No one will attack the US. Period. A country that has nukes will never be attacked. That's why Iran hasn't been attacked and neither has North Korea. Apparently "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction", but of course they couldn't find them, yet when there are bigger threats to the safety of this world other than Saddam Hussien, the US is deathly afraid to go anywhere near there simply because they have nukes.
Thankfully Nasa isn't the only space agency around. There's still Russia and China and Japan and the EU and so on. I'm sure we'll get back to the moon around 2025, it just won't be the Americans doing it
There's loads of room for people, it's just that people stay in the same place.
People can technically live anywhere, however farmland and fresh water are limited.
I didn't say FUCK EARTH i said fuck NASA and there's other resource's to get in space other then NASA. We don't need to spend that money on NASA right now. Right Now Americas Eco-system needs that money if it wants to "rebuild".
There's nothing wrong with The Great American Outdoors. We can make fresh water using Science.
who cares? we have been to the moon already, we don't need to go back.
Hydroponics. We can make fresh water using Science.
Because making water is super affordable right? Just because you can doesn't mean you will.

With less people, there will be more stuff to go around, it's basic first grade/psychopathic war criminal knowledge.
Because making water is super affordable right? Just because you can doesn't mean you will.
Purification isn't hard to do these days.
Oh god, this thread is full of people who want to live in Mass Effect.
Thankfully Nasa isn't the only space agency around. There's still Russia and China and Japan and the EU and so on. I'm sure we'll get back to the moon around 2025, it just won't be the Americans doing it
This.
Yeah i meant Economy system. guess i should edit that.
The Economy wouldn't be so fucked if the world paided attention to its money.
Oh god, this thread is full of people who want to live in Mass Effect.
And that/.
Oh god, this thread is full of people who want to live in Mass Effect.
I've had enough of your snide insinuations!
I'd like to see lankist on the subject when they were going to send europeans to america. (the new land) "No! We must help the poor and hungry! Fuck going to some shitty land, we don't know what's there, it's better to do nothing and stay here!"
Purification isn't hard to do these days.
Not practical for places that don't have great supplies of any sort of water ie mainland africa.
I'd like to see lankist on the subject when they were going to send europeans to america. (the new land) "No! We must help the poor and hungry! The New Land had water, soil and food in the form of plants and animals. The moon does not.
Not practical for places that don't have great supplies of any sort of water ie mainland africa.
Then flood the land then.
And they didn't freaking have to send basic supplies just so the colony could stay afloat.
Then flood the land then.
Haha. That's not practical either dude. That'd cost way too much. Way way too much.
I've had enough of your snide insinuations!
Chastising rebuke. That is no way to act, radioactive.
If the New Land was as hospitable as the moon's surface, than the colonists would have died in the first month. You probably think I'm crazy, but I mean make huge domes where people can live, then just very slowly turn the planet into something that's habitable.
Good move, Gotta save the economy before getting luxury things.
Then flood the land then.
When I was younger, I always thought this would solve a lot of problems in Africa. More soil > more food > a better, well established country > more less important things can be dealt with such as education > yay not a 3rd world country anymore! Ah well, a boy can dream. :allears: [editline]11:34PM[/editline]
I think it's being assumed that you would be terraforming whatever planet you'd be moving into before you'd have mass amounts of people move there. We still have plenty of resources, and although the human population is getting a little big, there's still plenty of space. Yes, I want it to happen, so I can have sex with blue alien bitches and defeat alien scum, but what I want really doesn't matter in the long run.
