• Tunnel under Stonehenge approved to stop traffic slowing down to look

Any particular reason you can't just put a fence around it?
Just plant a hedge. This tunnel is a waste of money.
This just sounds like an all around bad idea.
I honestly think this is a good idea.
I honestly think this is a good idea.
Seems like a huge waste of money considering they could probably just widen the highway.
Seems like a huge waste of money considering they could probably just widen the highway.
People are literally being dicks doing something that is known to slow down traffic in the area. Giving them more lanes to be dicks in isn't going to change anything.
they should just put up reverse speed cameras if you're going below the speed limit near this road, instant massive fine
they should just put up reverse speed cameras if you're going below the speed limit near this road, instant massive fine
But that'd punish everyone, because of one guy slowing down.
and that's literally a fucking retarded message to be sending people
[t]http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff379/lugthor/pandorica33.jpeg[/t]
"sir we've hit something with our drill!" "what is it?" "a shitty plot!"
Watch it take 20 years due to repeated stoppages associated with additional artifact discoveries.
A good thing actually. Probably wouldn't be dug out if it wasn't for this.
God fuck I hate driving past stonehenge on my way to Somerset, everyone just slows the fuck down to gawp at some giant rocks. Fuck it's annoying.
I lived about three miles way from Stonehenge for most of my life - I didn't think they'd ever go through with these plans. Every summer you'd have tailbacks all the way back to Amesbury and beyond and they just dragged their feet year after year. Glad it's finally fucking happening.
This just sounds like an all around bad idea.
How so?
Watch it take 20 years due to repeated stoppages associated with additional artifact discoveries.
Yeah I was about to suggest that. For all we know there could be a bunch of long-forgotten barrows in the area for tunnel digging.
A good thing actually. Probably wouldn't be dug out if it wasn't for this.
And that's why I keep on advocating underground construction. All sorts of stuff below our feet waiting to be unearthed, as well as making the most of the land we live on.
Expect any artifacts under stonehendge to be obliterated.
The Devourer of Worlds.. Truly terrifying.
Just install reverse speed bumps: high-speed treadmills that force cars to speed up.
