People get picked on whenever they stand out and redheads are uncommon enough that they tend to always stand out. It makes stuff like dental work extremely annoying, not to mention tedious. I always have to get double/triple dosages of Novocaine for everything, and for things that take longer (some dental work for example), I have to get a second round because it starts to fade within 30 minutes, and after 90 it does almost nothing to dull pain, but just makes things pressure insensitive.. When I was getting an ingrown toenail removed, it barely did anything. I could still feel everything, which completely threw the doctor for a loop. He flat out said he'd never seen anyone who could accurately determine exactly what he was doing with that much Novocaine in their foot. Wound up deciding to deal with it through the use of heavy swearing. Not the best day of my life.

Re: the article, I can attest to the anaesthesia thing but I am otherwise a total weenie pain-wise. As for spicy food, I have completely zero tolerance (hue) for it. Oh and anyway the school staff are whiny babbies and there's absolutely no good reason to deny this girl education over her hair, worse still when it's natural. Why did they wait until her last year to suddenly become inflamed about it?
